Furniture - Sales
I PURCHASED A FLOOR MODEL, NOT IN THE CLEARANCE SECTION. THE SOFA, CHAIR AND OTTOMAN ALL LOOKED IN GOOD CONDITION OTHER THAN A LOT OF LINT. I PURCHASED ON 4/5/03. I ASKED THEM IF THEY COULD VACUUM THE PIECES, AND THEY SAID "NO" AND THAT THE PIECES WERE IN STORAGE AND WRAPPED. I COULDN'T HAVE THE FURNITURE DELIVERED RIGHT AWAY, BECAUSE I WAS NOT IN MY HOME AT THE TIME. WHEN THE FURNITURE WAS DELIVERED, THE FURNITURE WAS NOT WRAPPED IN PLASTIC. THE SOFA WAS FILLED WITH BLACK SPECKS AND DUST IMBEDDED INTO THE FABRIC. I TRIED TO GET THE LINT OFF MYSELF. I HAVE HAD ASTHMA ATTACKS AND TROUBLE SNEEZING. I TOOK A WHITE DAMP TERRY CLOTH TOWEL ON THE BACK OF THE SOFA, AND IT CAME BACK BLACK. THEY WERE VERY UNPLEASANT TO ME OVERALL.
