I would hire Sean in a heartbeat to work with again. Personally and professionally, he is honest, straightforward, explains things well, and follows through. He knew we were under deadline, and he delivered. If he said he would get something done, he did. His workmanship was excellent, and I came to rely on him for figuring out solutions to problems. He impressed us from the first when, on talking with him about the tasks ahead (which included some roof work to hone in on a leak near some flashing), he took care of of the flashing within just a few days in order to beat a predicted winter storm. We liked that initiative a lot. We were never disappointed.

Sean came recommended to me by a colleague. I went online and found a few carpenters so I could compare prices. I was told by one carpenter (whom also came highly recommended) that there was no way he could do the job for under $XX dollars. Sean not only beat the price by $10,000, but he also was able to build an adjoining deck to our home for the price. I was very impressed with the quality of the work. He followed all the very strict city codes and always pointed out the "extra mile" he took to ensure the wood, brackets, nails, etc he used were the best for the job. At first it was a bit difficult to lock in a committed start date. But once our contract was signed, Sean's work was very professional and punctual. The project went a bit longer than anticipated but we believe it was probably due to the numerous checks the city placed on the contractors. He is very resourceful and his assistants were cordial as well. I trusted Sean with access to our house and he took care in making sure he locked up, etc. each day he finished the job. I will call Sean again for our next project

My parent's lifelong home suffered serious damage this past winter from ice dam damage/ build-up causing severe damage to 5 rooms in their 10 room home. Sean Brady Carpentry & Home Remodeling has been in business for 20+ years and has done work for my parents in the past (Construction of a 3 season porch, gutter installation, and other odd jobs including snow removal). After last winter's heavy snow fall and the resulting roof/ice dam damage it was a no brainer to call Sean Brady, my parent's had the outmost trust and confidence in him. My parent's are in their 80's and this whole situationwas overwhelming for them. They asked me to handle the insurance claim for them. We coordinated the adjuster's appraisal of the damage with Sean's estimate/assessment of the damage. Sean & the insurance appraiser met at my parent's house and did a room by room assessment. It was then that we discovered that we had a mold issue brewing because of all of the water/ice dam damage. Sean was not licensed for the mold abatement piece of the insurance claim but worked with ServiceMAster and came right in the day after the mold abatement was completed. Long story short.....5 rooms of a 10 room house (my childhood home) were completely gutted (including windows) and put back together. (I forgot to mention that my parents moved into my sister's home while all of the work was being completed). My parent's were displaced for 5 weeks, BUT, in 5 weeks they had mold abatement and 5 rooms completely gutted and rebuilt, AND were able to move back into their home. Sean came in ahead of schedule and under budget! He worked so well with the insurance adjuster, ServiceMaster, and the local building inspector to get the process expedited quickly. The insurance adjuster mentioned to me on a couple of occasions that he has never had the "ease" that he did working with Sean Brady that he did working with other contractors. My parent's are now in the process of having Sean Brady quote on some additional renovation work.I would highly recommend Sean Brady, he is professional, knowledgeable, and has built a reputation for quality work/craftsmanship
