I had air sealing, venting and insulation done in two attics and wall insulation blown selectively into areas not previously done. Their work was to a high standard - very thorough about the details. The damage to the clapboards that had to be removed was minimal.

I obtained 3 quotes and picked MVI based on the high degree of professionalism over the others. MVI provided a clear written quote, which was updated several times due to my changing the work to be done. The price was reasonable for blown insulation in a large unfinished room and a small finished room. The crew that performed the work was courteous, knowledgeable, clean and relatively quiet. The job took a longer than expected, but they continued making sure it got done in 1 day as promised. The best part was MVI provided easy to follow paperwork allowing for a 75% rebate from National Grid, which came 3 weeks after the job was done.

This contractor was very patient addressing the job and my concerns for "being green." The contractor made an approximate schedule and communicated to confirm a firm starting date. The job was started and completed on schedule. The old insulation in m attic had to be removed before being properly insulated. The attic looked like new contruction after the removal process. The insulation job was just as good. The contractor was very fair w/ his price for this job.
