Speakeasy Gardens is an ecological gardening company that bases itself on permaculture principals. What is permaculture? Permaculture is a holistic design system used to create sustainable settlements. It is a fusion of agroforestry, agriculture, gardening, sustainable planning, and landscape design. This design system can be applied to a broad spectrum of concepts including, but not limited to: green building, architectual design, farming, gardening, and community planning. Permaculture provides a set of guiding principals and ethics to work with that allow for the most sustainable outcome possible. At Speakeasy Gardens we realize that spaces have gotten smaller, budgets have gotten tighter, and lives have become busier, and we specialize in working creatively with all of these elements. Speakeasy Gardens creates spaces for simple moments where you can connect with your food source, nature, or just have a relaxing place to spend time with your family and friends. We build gardens with a dynamic and resilient stability that will serve you, while also providing habitat, food and beauty.
