Utter disappointment.
Project started back in April 2014 and to this date is still not complete. Mike (owner) does not return calls or show up when promised (or at all). Always an excuse for issues with timing of work being done or responding to issues.
We are having serious issues with the work that was completed and have since had to contact multiple other contractors to get quotes on what it will take to finish and fix the outstanding issues and work .
The wall is not flush, the patio is not level and has grass growing throughout due to improper use and timing of polymeric, the coping around the pool is a mess, one of the fence entrances is backward.

It was good. This company is pretty big and pretty busy. I know him but I use him. He is busy and sometimes it takes time to get things done. Other than the normal stuff like cutting the grasses or anything extra, it takes time.
But he is good and the quality is good. They did a pretty thorough job. It?s hard to get a hold of them and it?s hard to get extra things done. He is usually on schedule.

I'll start off by saying this: Fall cleanup went with out a hitch, and the price is terrific.
Mike's team did fantastic work on the irrigation system. Once they actually started, they completed it in one day, with minimal disruption. His guys came in, installed it...and I can't overstate how well the system works. I'm very happy about the end result. They do good work. The plan was to have them do the irrigation system and hydroseed the yard.
Now:
I was happy with the END RESULT. Getting there was a complete pain in the a**. If you decide to go with Mike and his team, remember: you are on his time and his pace. If there is a larger project, you will be mitigated to the back burner. If he tells you he'll be somewhere or do something by a certain time, be cautiously leary.
We never got around to the hydroseeding due to lack of responsiveness.
When he misses an appointment or an agreed to date, there is always a reason that somehow lessens his cupability. The hydroseeder malfunctioned, your yard required more weed control and took more time, we have a much larger project that has taken longer than expected, seeding is always best done in Sept (this was after a full summer of those other reasons), etc. And those were just the ones I got.
I'm a retired AF veteran and one lesson instilled in me during my time in the military is: be punctual and do what you say you'll do. Even if you aren't or can't, have the common courtesy to call someone and just let them know. They'd probably understand and work with you to reschedule. It's just being left out there, hanging, that bugs the crap out of people.
So, yes, the quality of their work is great. Yes, the price is fantastic. Puncuality? Lacking. Communication? Almost non-existent. The last communication was 38 days between emails (9 Sept and 22 Oct 2014).
Best of luck.

They charge $25 for cutting the lawn. The landscaper is pretty reliable and I think his prices are reasonable. It’s better to call his cell phone number if you want to get in touch with him instead of the business number. He is not good about calling you back and that’s the only disadvantage. However, he is dependable especially when it comes to snow plowing. He is there when you really need him to plow the snow and get you in and out of the driveway. He is dependable for the lawn service too. I don’t want to bad-mouth about him. He might forget to come out when I ask him to come since he might have too much on his mind, but he does show up. He is very good.

I asked Michael for an estimate to cut my lawn over the course of the summer. He returned my call right away and came out to see the yard. He gave a quote on the spot and I scheduled the service with him. His crew comes and cuts my lawn every other week, and they do a nice job. I also got a price from Michael to clean a couple of flower beds and cut down a small tree, which was also a fair estimate, and scheduled for that work to be done. That work was not done on time, however when the crew was able to come out and do the work, it was a job well done.

They do great work. They are always here at the same time each week. If I want something else done they will always do it and not charge extra. They also remove the snow on the drive in the winter and always do a good job.
