They called and came at the time they said they would. Tree was quickly removed and tree trimmed. They cleaned up and left. They were only here about 1 1/2 hours.

- left and stacked good, proper length logs for firewood, cleaned up barnches and other debris, cleaned area as if they had never been there - reduced price for work that was done by neighbor

OVERALL: From start to finish every aspect of the job went perfectly. I am very pleased with the entire staff at Stumpy?s ? very professional! The OFFICE: The estimate was arranged promptly. Almost every time I call the office I get to speak with a person. The ESTIMATE: Jeff arrived right on time for the estimate. He explained that they would put down plywood for the "lift truck" to pull up close to the trees. He made sure to record exactly what was going to be done in clear language on the written estimate. I said I wanted to complete the project while the leaves were still on the trees to get a better idea of the results. He said they would try to get this done before the end of October. As promised, Jeff called the next day with a date in less than a week! The ARRIVAL: The crew arrived on time. Jason was the foreman on the job with one assistant. Without my having to ask, Jason provided the Certificate of Insurance that I had requested from the office and proceeded to cover the grass with plywood. It is very refreshing to have things done that were previously agreed to without having to mention them again. The JOB: We had agreed that I would be present during the prune, so while I hung out the window Jason confirmed all the cuts with me. Jason worked the trees like surgeon. Every cut was careful. The ?drop? of any limb was precise. All of the heavier branches were lowered by rope. The CLEANUP: Jason and his assistant cleaned up the work and left no trace of the piles of branches and leaves that had been collected.

The three individuals from Stumpy's showed up as promised. They used the aerial bucket truck to access the large oak tree and first removed the branches top down and then cut the trunk down. They lowered each branch carefully and avoided hitting any of my plantings and my paver driveway. All the branches were chipped and the large trunk pieces were taken away. Then they cut the large branch from my neighbor's tree, taking care not to hit my electrical wires, my neighbor's wires or my stockade fence and lowered all the branches onto my front lawn. They cleaned up both my driveway, my front yard and my neighbor's driveway. When they left there was no evidence that trees had been cut since my yard was so clean. The workers were polite and professional.

When a tree began to hang dangerously above and in our electrical service, we called Stumpy's to take the tree down and also assess the health of two other old trees on our property. Within 45 minutes, a representative for the company came out and gave us a quote for tree removal and also gave a quote for pruning the other trees. The quote was very fair. On the day of service, a very very rainy day, the Stumpy's crew arrived on time and performed all agreed upon work. They cleaned up every bit of debris and gave great information as to the overall health of the two trees we are working to preserve. You could tell that this crew truly knew their stuff when it came to trees. I will absolutely use Stumpy's again for any tree service that we need. A+ service, courtesy, and professionalism.

After reading previous reviews, I called Stumpy's (my second estimate for tree removal and $400.00 less that the previous one). Martin came to my home, (on time) gave me a written estimate, and I scheduled the work. He was on time, courteous and professional. One advantage to Stumpy's is you do not need to be home, they will come and do the work while you go about your daily routine (great for working people like me). I did happen to be home that day, Mark called early and told me they would be there. In 2 hours this huge tree was gone, stump grinded and everything cleaned up. GREAT!!!! I have an acre of land and lots of trees, so for sure I will be using Stumpy's again in the future. Outstanding from start to finish. Thank you!!!

Excellent. Removal was taken care of in one visit. The area was swept clean.

We had three estimates and went with Stumpy's because theirs was the lowest. We don't always go with the lowest estimate, but in this case we are sure we got the best service we possibly could have as well as the best price. They are professional, really know their business, and are a pleasure to deal with.

The crew arrive promptly as promised...were responsive to any request while on site...wasted no time...provided quality work...and left the yard in tip top shape when they left... Will use them again...

We had received 4 estimates for the work needed and no one else could come close to the price Stumpy's quoted. We found the company to be friendly, prompt, professional and a true value!

It went extremely well. Jeff gave me an estimate on this work (and some additional work), and I decided to go ahead. The team showed up as scheduled, at about 8 AM, and knocked the job out in about 3 hours. Looking at my driveway and front yard, you would never know a tree was ever there. They did a fantastic job, and I would definitely use them again in the future.

This was a great experience. Called for a quote and Jeff from Stumpy's came out within days. He provided some great recommendations and a fair price. We scheduled the work a few weeks later and the crew arrived on time as scheduled. They quickly removed the large pine and ground the stump so you wouldn't know it was ever there. They pruned multiple oak trees, one of which required a climber and it all turned out great. We had them grind some additional stumps from prior tree work as well. They took the time to clean up the driveway and remove all the debris. Would definitely use them again.

Stumpy's was great! They came when they promised to provide an estimate, and gave me 3 options for my tree. I've had this tree pruned several times in the past, and they were the first to point out that my tree had a defect that could cause one trunk to fall. They suggested wiring the trunks to each other for extra support. They set a tentative date once I confirmed that I had selected their company, and which level of pruning I wanted. They were actually able to come earlier than planned, and called me to re-schedule. They performed the service as promised, and the tree looks great. The wiring is basically invisible. I highly recommend them.

The were great. Professional, quick, cheap and they did a great job. I highly recommend them.

It could not have gone smoother, they showed up on time, the crew was five very personable, professional men, they removed the pine tree in the front and took down the fence in order to access the back yard and then went to work. It was better than watching tv! Each man knew his job from the cutter who was either in the bucket or scaling the trees to get errant dead limbs, to Steve lifting the huge tree trunks and placing them precisely in the street, to the men on the ground shifting the equipment around and grinding two truckloads of branches they were a well oiled team. I have to say they were very gracious to my mom and I as we watched the whole operation moving from front yard to back yard with a camera! They were equally nice to my neighbors some who wanted an estimate for work to be done and others who just came to see what was going on. They kept the street open for traffic and cleaned up after themselves. If you are considering having tree work done and don't call Stumpy's then shame on you....

Their price was fair. The job looked beautiful and they were excellent! We plan to have them back again.

I could not have asked for better service. Chris showed up exactly on time to give us an estimate and he was very knowledgeable as we walked around our prooerty discussing various options. His original estimate was not unreasonable, but when I asked if he could do a bit better, the price came down. The work itself was done exactly as promised, and they cleaned up the work areas of all branches and otehr debris.

My husband and I contacted Stumpy's and made an appointment to get an estimate. They arrived on time and provided an estimate on the spot, which was far less than a couple other companies we've used in the past. We called and made an appointment to have the work done, and they arrived right on time completed all of the work in about five to six hours. We're most impressed with how well they cleaned up?in some places, you can't even tell there were trees there! We definitely plan on using Stumpy's again.

I thought this company was great and very reasonable for the work they did. They were great about calling and returning messages, and came at the time they said they would. The guys took down our dead tree and ground the stump. Clean up was wonderful and you can hardly tell there was a tree there!

We had a nice experience with them. Their price is good. Overall, they did a great job. They were fast, efficient, and did exactly what they said they were going to do.

Totally professional expert staff. They arrived on time, did the work in a very safe manner and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. They brought the right equipment to get the job done quickly and safely. They were also very careful not to damage anythink on our property with the equipment they brought. Meeting for quote was on time, and very competitive. I had to reschedule the actual work due to a work conflict. Once rescheduled; they arrived a half hour before scheduled time. Took extra care not to destroy lawn; laid-out plywood for trucks. Extremely efficient, couteous, and funny team.

The crew arrived on time @ 8:00 am they were a well oiled machine they began by removing the largest tree in the front yard with a crane while the other workers began triming and removing the trees in the back yard . The back of the house was the biggest challenge because they couldn't get the equipment back there and all the work was done by hand ,(extreemly labor intensive ) The crew had all the work done the yard cleaned up and back in thier trucks by noon . OUTSTANDING JOB

When they came out to do the work, they did a good job. Their price was decent. They were professional and fast. They were on time, too. They cleaned up quite a bit.
