They were fantastic from start to finish!! . They arrived on time for estimate and were very professional. Their estimate was detailed and fair. When it was time to do the work, Manny was great. He walked around the property to make sure he understood what was to be done. The work was done professionally with care to surrounding plants and trees. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up afterwards. I would highly recommend them!!!

They came over to review the job and recommended a few solutions (trim vs. cut). The visit was extremely professional and the quaote was given to me on the site - 15 minutes later. I called the next day to schedule the job. Upon arrival, the crew set up their tools (huge crane was one of them). I could not believe my eyes - the whole operation looked like "Cirque du Soleil" performance. Passing cars were stopping/slowing down to watch it as well :) They were very professional, efficient and nice. After 3 hours the trees and stumps were gone, branches trimmed and backyard cleaned up. They also followed up the next day to check if everything was handled as I expected. Highly recommended! I could not be happier with the outcome.

Representative came out about a week before the work was performed and walked the yard with me to look at the work. Arrived on time and Interactions were polite and knowledgeable. Mapped out the yard and agreed to a price to have all branches below 8-10 feet off the ground cut and removed and branches overhanging the second-story roof cut back. Because the overhanging branches were in the back corner of the lot, far from the road, I left it to them to figure out whether to use climbers or a truck to get at them. I wasn't home for the actual work, but everything that had been agreed to was done and the yard was left in perfect condition, including the removal of a large branch that had fallen the day before. Very pleased overall with the service.

We have a very large Linden tree and two maples that were desperately in need of pruning. After gathering three quotes, we chose Stumpy's for their high rating and extremely reasonable quote. The crew came on time and did the work quickly and completely, including grinding and removing the trimmed wood. We would definitely use Stumpy's again.

Very responsive service. Received a quote via email the same day. I wanted to take down the tree ASAP and the quote came Friday and they removed the tree today- Monday. They called me before they arrived and the workers were terrific and efficient. They did the work--crane, bucket, chipper..... in one about one hour. They were not the least expensive but they seemed knowledgable and worked safely and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Someone comes out from Stumpy's ahead of time to look at the work to be done. They ask good questions about what you want, take notes, and make a sketched plan of your property with x's marking where the work to be done is. They make sure to ask you if you need to be home when the work is done or not. They phone you later to confirm a mutually agreeable date and time. Stumpy's came at the time they told me they would and took down the tree. It went fairly quickly as the tree had hardly any limbs left on it. Later when I really looked at it, I thought the stump they left was too jagged for safety and called them about it. They were very pleasant about it and came out within a couple of days and leveled it off. My previous experiences with Stumpy's have been very good.

Stumpy?s personnel showed on time and within 3 hours had shrubs pruned, two dead trees down to the ground as well as several 6-10? limbs that were overhanging the lawn and deck, dead limbs and reduction cuts, clean up included blowing off the wood chips, small branches and leaves as well as plumping the grass back into an upright position. They are on my must call again and ?no hesitation whatsoever to recommend list.

Results look fantastic. I couldn't be happier. My wife told me they did a great job when I spoke to her during the day, but I was even more impressed seeing the effect on our yard when I arrived home from work. Areas worked on were totally cleaned up. Lawn wasn't damaged at all. And they even touched up a couple of areas that weren't requested when the work was originally scheduled. I'd highly recommend Mark and his company to anyone in need of this type of work. Time from the estimate to date work was completed was quick too (approx 1 week).

I was having some major landscaping done. The landscaper recommended that I have several large trees removed to allow for more light on the property. The landscaper recommended Stumpy's and I had used Stumpy's before (for single tree removal). I was one hundred percent satisfied. So I wanted to have them do this major job. The estimator was great and and got back to me with a quote right away. They were able to schedule me within two weeks or so(the girl on the phone is probably the nicest person you'd ever want to talk to). They did a fantastic job. I was delighted! And their price was the lowest quote I had received.

It went very well. They arrived on time and cleaned up thoroughly after they completed the job. They charged exactly what they said they would. Originally, the guy who inspected the trees and gave the quote had said they would not have to bring the crane truck into the back yard where the bulk of the work was done. He had said they'd be able to bring the truck up the driveway and have the crane reach over the house. However, when the crew arrived, they did in fact bring the truck around the side and into the back yard. It wasn't a problem as they were nowhere near the septic tank (I had explained to the guy doing the estimate where it is). They also used plywood for the whole path, and thus, did not cause any damage. Ultimately, I'm actually glad that they brought it around back. The original quote mentioned that the truck could cause cracks in the driveway, and that I acknowledged this. In retrospect, I'm glad the driveway was not subject to that potential damage.

It went very well. Four guys came and did the removal without harming my lawn at all. They were very professional and worked very hard.

The men came right on time. They did their work, cut the oak limbs in small lengths for my wood stove and did an immaculate job of cleaning up. I would recommend them.

First class. First Jeff came out to assess the project and provide a quote. Next the crew arrived at the time agreed to and did not leave until everything was completed and the area cleaned up. Finally the office called to verify that all work was done to our satisfaction. While under promising what stumps could be ground down they over delivered by creatively removing stumps with imbedded rock. I would not use anyone else in the future. Fair prices and more importantly reliable skilled crew

The only reason why I gave them a B for quality is because I feel like the tree stump they ground down was ground deep enough. I say this because grass won't grow very well over this spot. I'd say the stump is about 10" under the ground from what I remember. Never had a tree removed before so maybe this is common. Please, let the take away be that Stumpy's is a great choice when looking for tree work.

They did a good job, they cut down a tree and stacked it for me out in my woods. They are very professional and they have good prices.

Stumpy's arrived at 7:45am. The job took about 4-5 hours. They brought a bucket truck, a crane, an industrial-strength chipper and about 6 guys. They worked quickly and efficiently -- these guys knew what they were doing. It was fun to watch! They did an excellent job of picking up the debris from the work. I would highly recommend! I think their prices were very fair too!

They did the work just as requested, though we'd asked for wood chips to be left behind which they forgot to do (or might have been a miscommunication). They offered to return later with more wood chips, so that was appreciated.

The experience was positive as the company had reached out to me on several occassions on scheduling. The workers were prompt and courteous. This was the first time I've used a tree service and they were the only company I called. I had initially planned on reaching out to a few companies for quotes. Stumpy's was my first and only visit as their price seemed fair, which my neighbor and friends confirmed was a good deal, but I was offered the quote with options and was never haggled on what I needed to do or should do. I just told the person what I wanted and he gave me options and a price and said good day. I felt confident in their service and they delivered. I may consider using them again soon as my attempt to cut down the remaining tree roots myself, which I did not ask them to do before, has been failing.

Stumpy's arrived at 1 p.m. and left approx. 2.5 hours later. They brought a bucket truck, a crane, an industrial-strength chipper and a log truck. Somewhere in the fleet of vehicles they hid a stump grinder as well. 4 men tackled the job. They worked quickly and efficiently. They did an excellent job of picking up the debris from the work. The yard looks better after they finished up than it did when they arrived.

I got quotes from a few companies and Stumpy's quote was fair and reasonable. The call to the office and the response went very well. It was very quick and professional. After they did the work, I was not satisfied with the cleanup job( I'm sure the snow that was on the ground interfered) and called the office. I got a quick response and a promise to come back, after the snow was gone, to take a look. They are outside now blowing the lawn clean, cleaner than when they first came. I could not be more satisfied with their work, the folks who came to do it, their attention to customer satisfaction and the cost. I would definitely use them again.

The experience from start to finish was an A. The estimator was knowledgeable, the job was scheduled quickly and the woman I spoke with in the office was very friendly and professional. The crew showed up on time and were professional, friendly and accommodating. Given the large size of the trees it was determined that using a crane would ensure safety, minimize damage to the lawn and be the most cost efficient. There was a fairly large crew and they worked well together. It was apparent that safety was a concern which I appreciated. They laid sheets of plywood on the lawn in areas they would be driving to minimize lawn damage and were careful of underlying trees and bushes as they cut. Importantly they had the right equipment for a job of this scope and knew how to use it. At the end they did a thorough job of clean up.

They cut the trees into sections, carried them to the front and then used a chipper to get rid of them. They were very professional, nice and went out of the way to leave the place spotless.

Excellent. The crew arrived on time and proceeded to complete all work in 2 days as estimated. The grounds were well protected and the cleanup was exceptional.
