One of the worst experiences with a contractor ever...
On 7/13/10, I paid Todisco Irrigation of Haverhill, MA, a $850 deposit on a $1,440.00 contract to install the "Skeet R Gone" system at my home in Andover, MA. 13+ months later, the system is still not installation is still not complete. I have a long record of written communication which clearly outlines numerous missed dates and appointments. They are habitually late in responding, or even wholly unresponsive. By his own admission, he was unable to complete the project last summer due to "family reasons." He also admitted that he didn't have the proper chemicals available to complete the installation because "he couldn't afford to buy them."
John Todisco profusely apologized, admitted to being "unprofessional," and promised to remedy the situation by completing the installation in the Spring of 2011, and claimed that he would only require the $850 deposit as complete payment. Not surprisingly, missed appointments continued throughout the spring and summer, and the work is still not completed. FURTHERMORE, his incomplete installation efforts have rendered my existing irrigation system unusable, which required a $75 bill with another vendor to repair.
