Excellent work by Peter and his guys. They were on time, very professional and cleaned up after everything they took down. It had rained the day before so they put mats down on the yard to minimize damage to my grass, which they did at no additional cost (other tree companies quoted that as an extra). They also pruned/cleaned up a few small trees that were not in my original quote, but they did as a courtesy. This was very much appreciated.

it went really well. peter retelle came over himself to do the estimate, and gave me guidance on what we had to do versus what could wait until later. we also really like the trees on our lot, so we were trying to remove the dead or threatening trees without changing thewoodsy feel of the yard. he did that perfectly. they came exactly when they said they would, the job cost the same as the estimate, and they left the yard immaculate. i would use them again in a heartbeat.

Retelle's Tree Corporation was called for an estimate on the removal of 8 trees that were close to the electric service wires and the garage. Peter was very prompt in coming out for an estimate and the next day I had a completed estimate via e-mail. Their estimate was very competitive and so we chose to go with this company.
I was contacted by e-mail as to a good date to do the work and Peter Retelle, his son and brother-in-law arrived at around 8:30 am on the day that was scheduled. They all worked well together and did a fantastic job of removing some difficult trees due to their location. They cleaned up thoroughly and removed all debris. Peter had noticed some branches and a large limb near the driveway and offered to take them down at no extra cost to us.

Excellent work all around! Will not hesitate to hire them again.

Peter Retelle is very proactive, responsive and professional. He came by and provided an estimate for the work within hours of my call to him. He had all the equipment necessary to remove the limb safely and quickly and the job went smoothly.

This was my first experience with any tree service, so I have no basis for this statement - but the prices seemed high. I have no regrets and would definitely use Retelle Tree again.

They were really good. They were insured. They were professional and very careful and took all the precautions when they were grinding the stump. They had the gas company come out and turn off the gas line and they knew what they were doing. Peter Retelle is the owner and he came out and gave the estimate and was also on the job and we felt like I was in good hands. Whatever they did was great and the clean up was also fine. They had whatever they needed to do the job. The price I paid was $3,000.

arrived and had a very large tree removed quickly on the first day. returned two days later and ground out stump.

We contracted Retelle in early winter for removal prior to spring. We knew the weather would be an issue, so there was no firm date set. When he called to say he would be starting, he came to do some prep work. Unfortunately, we had another major snow storm, so he waited for another week or so. In the end, he came when he set a firm date, and did all the work contracted. He and his crew even raked the front yard to clean up as much as possible!
