Pinnacle HVAC

My initial inquiry to Pinnacle to get a proposal on installing central a/c in our 1935 home. Of the various companies we met, Pinnacle was the most responsive and best understood our needs. The advice we received was fantastic and led us to make decisions that were absolutely the right ones for us: two zones with heat pumps, a third area with mini-split. The installation crew was respectful of our space amidst the disruption that is naturally going to occur, and always very pleasant to have around the house. I was so impressed with the work that I went on to have an aging boiler replaced with a new Viessmann boiler and am so pleased to have made that additional investment in our overall HVAC systems. These guys really are the best. I'd be happy to be a reference.

January 2025: quick update to my previous review. Going with Pinnacle was among my best decisions. The systems they installed work perfectly for my home. A recent routine service call was easy to schedule, on time, and I was very satisfied. The heat pumps they installed a year and a half ago have performed well, the system was scoped well for my home. The Viessmann boiler they installed a year ago is a vast improvement over the old boiler that was in my basement taking up an excessive amount of space and running inefficiently. Bottom line: great company to deal with, great advice, great service. I highly recommend and would be happy to serve as a reference. (My previous posting from October 2023): I really don't like to leave negative reviews, and I'm always so happy to leave positive reviews. This is a very positive review, so you can imagine how happy I am to leave it. I have found Pinnacle highly responsive from the get-go, very willing and able to communicate. The proposed solution was exactly what I'd hoped for (a ducted central system with two heat pumps, one for each floor, and a mini-split in a room that was not accessible from the central system). The team is now in my house for the second week and they're great. It's always a bit tricky to anticipate where the ductwork (supplies and returns) will be routed, and they've gone above and beyond in trying to find solutions that will minimize loss of space in closets while being aesthetically sensitive to the design of the rooms. Further, the crew has been great at cleaning up after themselves at the end of the day, and setting up properly when they return in the morning. And one more thing: they've always shown up. And if there are issues or delays, I am the first to know. I suppose I ought to wait until we turn the switch on, but felt that Pinnacle HVAC deserves this review even while we're in process. Fast, pleasant, reasonable price.

The appointment was made promptly, the technician showed up as scheduled and performed a basic preventive maintenance. He worked quickly. I was disappointed to learn there was an additional travel charge added to the bill. This had not been discussed up front.

Showed up on time. Diagnosed and repaired problem quickly. Quality work. Price came in a little over phone estimate, but the job turned out to be more complicated than originally thought. All in all - very satisfied and will use them again.

I feel we overpaid for something we could have done ourselves. Did not feel they were honest with us. Did not even check if problem was fixed before they left.

I will absolutely use Pinnacle HVAC again in the future if needed. When I submitted a request here, They called me immediately. He said he would be here between 11:00 to 12:00. And he showed up at 11:33am. He found the problem in 30 min, and went out to buy the part and came back quickly to fix this problem. Very polite, prompt, respectful, and professional. I recommend him to all 100%! Oh, by the way, charges in a reasonable way! No surprising fees!

They were late showing up, which was odd given that my appointment was at 7:30 in the morning. But they did a very thorough job and I was happy with their work.

They were prompt and fit me in last minute. They usually give a 4 hour window but because we were scheduling the same day, they had the tech call me 15 minutes before so I could run home from work instead of having to take the entire morning off. The technician who came was friendly and worked pretty quickly at diagnosing the problem. They are putting together service programs that we are considering buying to have them service our HVAC annually.

There was some mixup on the scheduling time, however, they did make it to job for annual maintenance on the AC unit. The full service price included washing of the unit, but there was no water access. As a result, they decreased the price. Also they told me that my unit need a 2 year maintenance service instead of 1, which was good to know.

Jay was professional and confident upon our initial meeting. He provided several references and they were excellent. Once we gave a deposit (1/2 down), reaching him was extremely difficult. The management of the A/C installation was poor. We had chronic issues with our A/C installation and getting him to our house to fix it was a chore. We're still unsure if our new unit is working efficiently and we will have to pay another HVAC company to assess our system. If we had looked up Pinnacle HVAC, LLC's rating on the Better Business Bureau's website first, we would not have used this company's service based on their current F rating.

Very friendly and efficient. They were able to identify the problem quickly and have us up and running in no time.

I spoke with Jay Savoie within minutes of my e-mail. He was very helpful in listening to my plight and I would have moved with him but decided to accomplish the repair myself. As I indicated to him, should the furnace need repairs or replacement in the future, he will be the first person I will call.

Jay called me immediately after I submitted my request. He was friendly and professional. He took time to explain what the service entails.

Job was completed, and satisfactory . Would recommend this company. the price was reasonable as well, compared to others.

Jay from Pinnacle came out promptly and was extremely knowledgeable. I have never had a better experience with someone doing work on anything in my home. He was courteous, forthright, and friendly. He did excellent work and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Pinnacle communicated with us right away and was flexible with appointment times. They came at the agreed time we made, were fast and gave good advice for the future of our heating system. Thanks!!
