The decorations and set up were beautiful.  The food was variable, some food was excellent, and some food

was not very good at all.  The scallops were chewy and fishy; I took one bite and had to throw them out.  I had paid for an  'appetizer bar' to be set up for the main meal.  They never set it up.  They randomly placed the food around so

many guests did not have all options. It seemed as though some of the options did not have enough for all quests to have. This may be why the ?appetizer bar? was never set up.  The desserts were supposed to be set up as a bar as well with multiple selections available.  This never happened. Again, many people did not get desserts that were supposed to be

available.  Throughout the night there was no communication about the change in plans to not set up the appetizer bar and dessert bar.  They also never confirmed the final count for the party.  Previous caterers I have worked with gave me a courtesy call on the final count before they ordered food, this never happened.  They had quoted for higher than the expected amount, so I ended up having to pay for more people than I ever expected to have and I still feel there wasn?t enough food.  I emailed the owners after the event to let them know about how I felt. Their response was to defend why they changed the way the event was conducted and let me know that I would have to pay for the final count and that, oh by the way, my payment was 9 days past due.  There was no effort on their part to reconcile the situation.
