Description of Work: A horrible, horrible experience with this company, though I have used them several times in the past. Our GE Monogram refrigerator/freezer went out and the fastest appointment I could get was approx. 7 days later. When the repairman arrived and found out what the problem was, he said he would have to order a part. I gave approval and he said the "office" would contact me with the next appt to install the part. The call never came. I then called and spoke with a receptionist and a manager who assured me that the part was on it's way and they set up an appt for installation. We did this 3, yes, three times. Each time my husband or I took off work for that "four hour time period" and no one ever came. Finally, after having enough of this nonsense....and this is a refrigerator much needed during the summer....I called Sears. They were here the next day (with the part) and installed it within 30 minutes. There is just no excuse for this kind of service, or should I say, lack of service. Not only was the service horrible, but the attitude of the manager was defiant and rude. I worked with them for almost 3 weeks to get the refrigrator fixed because I know that mistakes happen and people are human. However his belligerent attitude and the fact that he outright lied and said a repairman had been to the house to install the part was the last straw. My husband and I both missed work, and on each day I waited by the door - without vacuuming etc so I could hear the doorbell. We were desperate to have it fixed. A couple of weeks after Sears fixed it, Twin City Appliance had the nerve to send us an invoice for payment that said they had ordered the part and the "customer refused installation". I wrote them a letter with dates and details that explained exactly what happened throughout this ridiculous process. I finally got an invoice returned with a zero balance and a handwritten "sorry" scrawled across the top. I believe the managers and staff hide things from the owners and that the owners really need to get a grip on their company. I will discourage everyone I know from using this company.
