The Furniture Company

Rental went well, but poor and deceptive service when called to cancel rental.  They were told from the beginning that the rental would only be for a few months while our house was repaired from a fire.  When called to have furniture picked up was told that they could not be schedule before end of month.  I expressed concerns about having to pay an additional month's rent since the furniture was still in the house.  They later called back and stated that they could pick up the furniture.  Nothing said about the $750.00 deposit.  A few weeks after the furniture was picked up I called about the refund and was told it was being processed and I should recieve in a week.  Two weeks later I called and was told by Manager (Debra) that they were not going to return the deposit because we didn't provide written notice.  In my opinion this is nothing less that dishonest, deceptive and out right theft.  I hope more people will complain about this company and their unfair treatment of the consumers.
