I had a coupon which made this service especially affordable.
Tami worked well with my 14 year old son and they had his room in order in less than the 4 hours contracted, but she also took stuff for donations so I did not have do that follow up.  She is very quick - which can be overwhelming for those of us who have trouble parting with our stuff, but it worked great for my son and her! Tami   Saved potential arguments between my son and me if we had tried to do this alone!

Consultant arrived promptly and wasted no time in getting to work.  She made suggestions for solving clutter problems and led the way in carrying them out.  She was all business and did not entertain extraneous chatter, which helped to get the most out of her time.  Definitely beneficial.

Tami was wonderful!  She came in & knew exactly what needed to be done to get results.  She even gave me tips here and there to control clutter.  We completed EVERYTHING and I had the successful yard sale soon after that.  I couldn't have done it without her help.  Thank you so much Tami!

It was amazing.  
Tami called to schedule us and called the day before to confirm.  She was very punctual and very professional.  Her cheerfulness and positive attitude made it very easy for us to make the decisions that had stymied us before:  how to rearrange some of our spaces....what could stay and what needed to go.
We ended up not needing to get rid of very much except some boxes earmarked for donations.  She even took the donation boxes and delivered them for us.  Everything else, she showed us how we had plenty of room and made it easy to rearrange the space.  I'm thrilled.
She worked very hard, even moving furniture from one room to another to reconfigure some space. I'm actually  hiring Clutter Busters  again to help us with a more extensive project.  
We say A+ across the board!.

I cannot quite explain, nor can I exaggerate the extent to which Tammy has helped me. She has changed my house, my organization, my space and and my mindset. She took a space that was beyond cluttered, which I had been hopelessly and cluelessly looking at for 4 years, and turned it into a home...right before Mardi Gras. On Muses Thursday. 2 blocks from the parade route. Seriously. She was amazing. Never pushy and never judgy, she swept in perfectly ontime and went righ to work with me, changing my space and freeing me from the baggage of crud I had mindlessly held on to for years. And when she left, she even emailed me a list of things to do to make it even better. I can't begin to express the difference this has made in my life and my mindset, my comfortability in my own house, and my general outlook on the world. An organized house really is the difference between feeling in control and out of conttrol of your life, as well as wanting people to come over as opposed to being scared they might stop by. That's a huge thing, living on a parade route. I had two very cluttered rooms and a kitchen that needed help, as well as a rental space to which I could funnel spare furniture. And I needed help staging my rental for pictures to rent it out online . Tammy came in, moved the whole house around, and created really cool spaces out of things I would not have imagined. She even taught me how to properly stage the rental so it looked hospitable and appealing. It was kindof amazing. And now I'm earning money!!! Tammy is wonderful. If you're skeptical, don't be. If you're dubious, there's no reason. This woman knows her stuff, and she's more than excited to help you to a better life with less mess - and to allow you to free yourself from the crao that burdens your daily life. Do not hesitate. If you need her, cal her. She'll change your life.

Having someone come into your space- sight unseen - can be scary to some. As an Professional Organizer for many years I have the ability to quickly see the space and figure out how to make it function better. Which sometimes requires moving furniture around and creating a big mess before it gets better. Sometimes people get "stuck" with their space. We tackled several rooms- juggling several pieces of furniture to other spaces. It was a pleasure working with this client - she was open to change, I threw many difficult tasks at her- and she managed to get through all of them. I actually wanted to stay and continue to assist this client but with the parade schedule that was not an option, because of her location. Purchased product. Scheduled appt. for Jan. 13th.  On Jan. 9th I received a cancelation notice saying that I would be contacted within two weeks to reschedule and that I would be given an extra hour of service due to their cancelation.  I haven't heard from them since.  Today, I sent an email informing them that I was negatively filling out this questionnaire.

"This is Tami- the owner of NOLA Clutter Busters. I am a ONE Woman Show. I take pride in providing personal, professional, service. In response to this "negative" review- I did respond to this client- but it seems that my computer was having issues. How could this have been handled differently? Well a quick " Hey Clutter Busters- when can I get on the schedule? " would of worked just fine. Notice to all Angies list customers- some business are small- and when they do a "BIG DEAL" they get flooded with emails, calls, and a lot of new clients. This is all great- but some things get over looked because you just got crazy busy- I am a full service Professional Organizer- which means - I am out in the field all day - Not sitting at a computer. In order to keep my overhead low- I don't have a full time staff. I am here to help clients with their Organizational challenges - when you are ready. I apologized to this client and sent her my avail. right away. Maybe she wasn't ready."

it went very well. Ms. Tami Hill helped me a lit organizing my very messy garage. She gave me lots of tips so this won't happen to my garage anymore. She worked hard and never took breaks. She is ver much recommended!! I just love her!!!!!

"This Family was a pleasure to work with- her grand kids - jumped in and assisted us through out the entire project- All of them worked so hard! We worked on the garage on two separate sessions: First day- we pulled all the bikes, trash cans, and items on the floor out so we could move around. We managed to make 1/2 the garage functional on the first visit. Second session: Member purchased several garage shelving units - which her son put together and we cleared the space to add them along the wall. We created a more organized space by putting her items into catagories : yard tools, holiday decorations, cleaning products, etc. This will help her stay organized - as long as everyone puts things back where they belong. Tami is an Angel and heres why:

I called her with a problem I have lived with all my life and that is ADHD;always wanting to do several projects in my house and when I attempted to do them I just made my living situation worse.  So, after sitting in the middle of my tiny shot gun house almost in tears because I just could not make this space work, I decided that I needed some help!  I started surfing the net for a professional organizer and I came across Clutter Busters.  I emailed Tami through her website and told her my entire life story in a couple of paragraphs and she responded to me in less than 2 hours.  It was the weekend for christ sake!!   

I met with Tami a week later and we had a game plan.  I say "we" because all those little projects I wanted to execute she told me how and why these ideas were either good or bad.  She is a teacher.  Not only will she organize your house but she shows you how to keep up with it and how  going back into those same patterns, in a tiny Shotgun home, can put you right back into misery.

Professional organizer Tami Hills rocks! Tami deftly handled the estate of my late parents-- organizing their home, disposing and donating what needed to leave the house and staging an estate sale--all while taking the initiative to have more valuable items consigned. She also handled a delicate move involving a family member. Being a former crime scene investigator, Tami has impeccable organizational skills along with sensitivity when dealing with client families?who can range from the bereaved to hoarders. What I appreciated most is that she took initiative on aspects of our projects that I was either too busy to address or didn?t care to. I live on the other side of the country yet we always felt like we had a trusted advocate in Tami?who is so positive and quick to smile. Before working with her, we had never met. We live out of state, and Clutter Busters communicated with us by phone, e-mail and photos through the entire process. We then had the ability to make daily calls to family member for support and input. We were also able to give input to Clutter Busters. We were astounded by the speed at which the entire move was accomplished. In addition to the clear-out and move, Clutter Busters assisted with things like last minute appointments, discussions with the management at the new apartment, small purchases, disposal of an old car, etc. We have no reservations about recommending Clutter Busters whole-heartedly! Tami was described as an angel by a friend of our family member, and as accomplishing the impossible by other relatives. We finally feel as though our family member is safe and well supported in her new cozy apartment!

NOLA Clutter Busters packed books, clothing, lots of art objects, and got ready for the move. They hired a moving company, who was very careful with my belongings ( a rare thing ), and we moved into my new home. Before we got there we determined where everything would be placed, so they could direct the movers, as to where to place things. Once everything was in the home, they unpacked and organized everything.
