The company came out the next day and switched the.lines in our backyard very quickly. We had our service working.perfectly withim a half hour of them arriving.Customer service was very helpful.
Description of Work: We moved and needed our cable and internet switched too our new house. We discovered that the lines in our new house were damaged and we called Cox.

I don’t really like them but that is the only game in town. I don’t really have a choice unless I go in for a satellite TV. The cable goes out a lot and the internet goes out a lot. I think they might have put the box in the wrong place and it is strongly affected by weather. It is just a pain. I have them on my checking account, so the bill amount is deducted from my account, so I am not sure how much it comes to every month. We pay extra for one channel, HBO. The price is probably fair. It is really hard to get somebody out.

It is uncanny how horrible they are. One time I needed to get some new equipment, they said, "Don't worry, we will have a guy come out for it." The guy came out and knew nothing about it. Then they said I needed to bring it in to get it fixed. You have one person telling you one thing, another person telling you another thing. They have horrible communication. We didn't end up getting it fixed for two weeks. Usually when you buy digital cable, you get quite a few channels. With this service, you get the same channels you were getting when you didn't have their service except it is digital. I can't think of a time when I didn't have a head slapping experience with these guys. It was consistently horrible. I have not switched because I have been lazy about it and have decided to just deal with them. I would recommend searching for alternative providers before considering this company. These people will test your patience. Service is so bad I wasn't sure if I was on some kind of hidden camera show. We asked them to do something to set up the cable in the third bedroom and after four years we got tired of asking, they still have not done anything about it. I can't give them an F because you turn on the cable box and it does work. I will actively look for another service in the place of this company in the future.

We have had a few outages but they always come right out and fix it.
