Paretti Mazda

On Friday, December 6, 2019, Paretti manager Mike King, told us that he would sell us our neighbor's car (which was traded in) for $4800 plus the cost of repairing any safety issues. Mike King assured our neighbor (as well as assuring myself and my wife) who had just bought a new car from him that day that he would sell us the trade in. The safety issues we knew about were the replacement of 2 tires and possibly issues with brakes. We were fine with these repairs. Mike King told us that on Monday he would have the car checked for safety issues. On Tuesday, December 10, 2019 we followed up with Mike King and he said that they had not reviewed the car yet. Mike King said that he would call me back once he had the car reviewed. There was no call back, so on Thursday morning I called Mike King back. Mike King said that in addition to the safety issues they decided to repair dents in the door and on the car body and that the car would be SUBSTANTIALLY more expensive than what he assured me on Friday. Mike King said that it is their car and they can do what they want. That is correct Paretti can do what they want. Of course Mike King lied to us several times in saying what he was going to do and then did something completely different. He assured us that he would sell us the car with just safety issues fixed. However, that was a complete lie. So that is what has me upset.

They completed the work, but it took over 3 hours. I was originally said the work would be quick and I was not given any other update the service would take longer than a normal oil change. Finally, after 2.5 hours I asked for more information and the customer service specialist seemed annoyed I was bothering them and asking questions. After about 20 minutes she provided me with a timeline that should have added up to 3 hours. I asked why some of the work couldn't be completed at the same time and I received no answer. After over three hours I finally got my car back.

We brought the Mazda 3 in to get a quote on the cost to repair the AC which was not blowing cold air. The cost of the quote and to check the exact problem was $150.00. If we decided to have them do the work, the $150.00 would be applied to the $800.00 to repair. We decided to get a price from another auto servicer and he was a lot cheaper...in fact a third of their price.

.They do a wonderful servicing my car. Sometimes you have to wait  for an appointment but if its is something serious they will get you in sooner. plus they will give you another car to drive while its being fixed. They on time for the appointment too.
