Al's Westbank Appliance Repair

Description of Work: On 11/6/12 Peter came to my house and said I needed a new drain pump for my dishwasher. I was charged 90.00 for the service call and told I'd receive a call back as to when they could get the part and install it. I waited for 2 weeks, called them back and was told they were very sorry, that they would call me back later that day or the next day as to the status of the order for the pump. Never heard from them. Called again and went through the same rigamarole as the first call. called again, and again, finally today with yet another "promise" they would call me back today to confirm a refund my $90 since they were having problems with their supplier. It's been 2 1/2 months since my original call to these people and NOTHING has gotten done. One ironic note- Peter, the technician who came to my house, warned me as I was writing the $90.00 check, not to trust any appliance repair person, "INCLUDING ME!!!". I should have listened.

Description of Work: I didnt get passed the phone. The lady that answered the phone was very very rude. I thought it was ok to ask question when your trying to hire a service company. This lady has not been taught that. A great service company starts with the person that answer the phone.

Description of Work: Our dryer went out (again). The technician came out the next day and promptly made the repairs. The timer went out but was replaced on that visit. Previous repair jobs for the timer took several days because the part had to be ordered. The lady that I spoke with on the phone sounded a little abrasive but at least she explained the details of the charges exactly.
