I bought a home from a lady who used Lee’s to install a AC unit 2 years before I bought it. When the home inspection was complete we found the unit in extreme poor maintenance condition even though she used Lee’s to service the unit regularly. We also found that they did not seal the interior closet area or door frame, install the proper drip pan, and other issues with the installation. After speaking to lees their excuse for the poor maintenance & installation was that they had “new” techs completing jobs. But would not fix their mess ups. The day before we purchased the house, Lee’s did a “full maintenance” on the coils and unit. Which was still left partially dirty when we did a final inspection of the home. I was not happy with this company. The next day (a Saturday) the house was HOT. So I called Lees to come out & explained the situation, house was newly purchased, unit was under warranty & that lees was just out day prior to maintenance the unit. She told it it would cost me $200+ per hour for someone to come check it out even though they were just out the day prior and even though the unit was under warranty I had a trusted licensed AC company come out for 1/3 of the price ( a company I’ve used for years and never had a issue with) Turned out that lees not only had damaged the fans during the cleaning BUT also had left a Freon leak unattended This “full” service/maintenance was not done correctly. I called Lees and they refuse to pay for the damages they caused to the unit. It cost me $700 to repair their work not including the cost to properly insulate and seal the interior unit Lees is also removing their warranty on the unit since another company touched it. Which is fine because lees will never touch my AC unit again after my experience with them. Beware when they come to your home or business. They are not friendly & very unprofessional. Plus their prices are 2-3x more than other companies who will insure their work.

These folks are GOOD! We called on a Thursday afternoon, Two Technicians arrived within 1 hour and diagnosed the problem( I had already had a friend who is a retired HVAC Tech diagnose our unit). Unfortunately; they couldn't get to us until the following Tuesday(until the new parts came in/another Service Crew was available) so their Service Writer put us up in a nice hotel at no charge to us. The following Tuesday they were on location and started on time, and were completed (2 hours!) before their estimate. They cleaned up as they worked, even utilizing a large drop cloth inside to catch the stray insulation and miscellaneous debris Everything was double checked - inside and out, with all the questions I could think to ask; answered to my satisfaction, prior to the final cleanup. They contacted us after a few days after the installation to insure we were satisfied with their work and were not experiencing any problems with our new unit. Every time we have spoken with them - they were courteous and took the time to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied with our interaction with them. We have no problem in recommending: Lee's Air Conditioning Co - 156 Banks Ave Lafayette, LA 70506 for HVAC needs to others - Lee's handles Commercial as well as Home Units. We are not affiliated with Lee's, but now rely upon them for our Cooling and Heating needs. They performed excellently for us.

Everything went better than expected. All staff members were very professional, polite and courteous at all times. Work was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Lee's Air conditioning to everyone for any A/C needs!!!!

Saturday evening my a/c stopped cooling. I turned it off for several hours (hoping it was just frozen over and would thaw, no luck). I called Lee's a/c Sunday morning 8 am. Technician on call (Andre) called me back in less than 5 minutes. I explained that the unit was not cooling, it would turn on and run, but would not cool. He said he was in a job and would be here as soon as he was done. He did let me know that since it was Sunday, the service charge and work would be at an overtime rate. I was okay with that, since I didn't want to wait until Monday. Andre called when he was on his way and arrived around 10 am. Shortly after he came in explaining that it was the capacitor that was bad and needed changing. By 10:30, he was done and the unit was starting to cool again. Great job, fast service, honest technician. Thanks!!!

The office staff was very pleasant to deal with. They understood my needs and routed the technicians quickly. They also called me to let me know that the technicians were enroute to my house. The technicians showed up promptly. They identified the issue and advised me of my options. I informed them that I am a single mother, and they did what they could to provide me with the least expensive repair possible. While they were here, they found that my thermostat was not working, as I had already suspected, and replaced it with a new digital thermostat. The technicians were down-to-earth, yet still very professional. I am so happy that I trusted the reviews on Angie's List and called Lee's to service my A/C. These people are AWESOME, and I found them to be very trustworthy! I will be a life-long customer.

I've been looking for quotes for a new A/C unit for the past year to replace an old unit that I knew would need replacing very soon. I had 3 different companies come out to give me advise and quotes on a new system that would correct a unique problem I had in a two story town house I purchased 14 years ago. My town house had only one A/C unit to cool the upstairs and down stairs areas, which it did not do very well. Upstairs was always very stuffy, warm and never cooled during hot summer days.
All 3 companies offered me different brand name units, and basically told me the same thing about what needed to be done to solve my cooling problem. After doing my homework, I knew I wanted to go with a Carrier Infinity. So at the end of July when my unit completed stop cooling because the fan motor went out, I knew it was time. It was late afternoon when I called Lee A/C about the problem I was having, they responded immediately and were at my house in 10 minutes. I did not have a quote for a new unit from Lee Air Conditioning, it was late but Tyler took the time to evaluate my home, talk to me about my options and give me a quote for a new Carrier Infinity. It was cheaper than the 3 quotes I had and I was given a discount for paying in cash. I was in heaven and signed the contract on the same day. Tyler can several days later with a crew of four and did all the work he quoted me for. They did have to come back to fix an issue on the out side unit but the response was quick and satisfactory. The best part is that I'm enjoying my upstairs for the first time in 14 years.

I contacted Lee's about a leak that was found in our evaporating coils. The woman on the phone was very kind and helpful. I called on a Friday and she was able to set up an appointment for our problem to be fixed on Monday. That included waiting for the parts to ship! First thing Monday morning, the gentleman was there and ON TIME! He was friendly and explained everything to my understanding. The work was done well and effficiently. Our air conditioner is now in good shape.

Lee's has been doing my maintenance on my central air condition and heater for a few years. They have always gone through my system very thorough to make sure everything is cleaned completely and working like it should be. They always explain everything they are going to do so that I understand what they are doing to my system. If there is something that they find isn't working like it should they explain to me about the issue and also give me the price (which is always a fair price) before taking any actions towards fixing the issue that is found!!! Highly satisfied..Highly recommended!!!!!!

They are thorough and very professional. Andre usually come out and by now he knows where everything is located. If anything needs replacement they offer fair prices and are very prompt. I have 4 AC/heating units so it takes them a long time to check each unit. They come twice a year. I had another company doing this service in the past and they charged twice as much and didn't take the time that Lee's does. I am very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone. They are a Carriere Dealer, but work on all models and makes.
