My water heater had a small leak and I was concerned that it would fail completely and dump a lot of water on my floor. Vaughn took care of the water heater replacement quickly. I am pleased with the friendly service.

Vaughn’s got in touch with me immediately. They sent out one of their best technicians to help repair my toilet. He was on time thorough and professional. Then he came back the next day first thing Sundayto install the grout around the base of our toilet.. what exceptional service and the price was fantastic! I had been quoted over $1000 by another vendor. I knew that was way too much thank God I went with Vaughns!!!🎉

Often when we seek a plumber, we have trepidation that they aren?t going to be working for us, but just for their profit. This is exactly what happened with this company. Despite being a lay person, I told them what I believed to be the problem. No further investigation was done and when a problem arose, I was told that I would still have to pay the price for the original issue with no difference to the fact that I clearly did not know what other problems could arise. I was told it wasn?t their fault that the pipe was broke and that was that. It was laughable for the company to even believe that I would consider that I would hire them to actually fix the problem. It?s very hard to find people who you can trust to help you with home repairs and this time I learned my lesson. If you should choose to use this company, please be clear on exactly what?s wrong with your home because they have no grace in truly servicing their clients.

Buyer Beware! I found Vaughns Plumbing and Draining on Thumbtack. He responded quickly to my inquiry. That same day, we had a conversation about my needs. I had a broken garbage disposal that caused a major leak under my sink, a running toilet, and a broken bathtub spout. He asked if I had a new garbage disposal or needed him to get one. I asked if he had one that he recommended. He said, ?I?ll just get one. There is one that I use that I have not had any complaints for in over 20 years.? I asked him if he could come out the following Thursday after 3pm. He agreed. The next day, I asked if he could give me a rough estimate. He quoted me $750 ( including the purchase of the garbage disposal). I asked for the price if I got my own. He said that it would be $250. Thursday comes. I text him to inquire if he was going to be able to make it (2 days after the snowstorm) or if we needed to reschedule. He replied that he was still coming. Around 5pm, he still hadn?t showed. Vaughnâ s plumbing **Attention Neighbors!** I want to share a cautionary tale about Vaughn's Plumbing. I found them on the Nextdoor app yesterday and called them about an outside leak. Over the phone, I was told it would cost $45.00 for an inspection and diagnosis. However, when the plumber arrived today, he dug a single hole next to the house and charged me $275.00 for just 10 minutes of work, stating that I might have a broken pipe. The price jumped from the original $45.00 to $275.00 without any clear explanation. Please be very careful if you decide to use Vaughn's Plumbing, especially women. This experience was extremely frustrating and felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. Stay alert!

I canâ t recommend this company as they donâ t stand behind their work. I had a pipe repaired behind my water heater and I also had them reinstall the water heater. The next day I noticed one of the pipes was leaking. He came back out the following day to repair it. A couple of days later I noticed a drain line was leaking. It was leaking because he forgot to put cement around one of the joints. After waiting a week and a half I just fixed it myself. The guy did come back once to fix it but it 20 minutes earlier than he was supposed to and he just rang the doorbell twice and left. Never called my phone although he told his boss he did. He also told me he was outside ringing my doorbell for 15 minutes. Thatâ s a lie, I know because I checked my cameras. The owner called me over a week and a half later asking if the guy ever came back I said no and that I had fixed it myself. He stated that he would refund $50. That was almost a week ago. Before I fixed the leak myself I had talked to the owner several times and he kept saying he was going to send the guy back. Iâ d stay away from this company if youâ re looking for someone that will stand behind their work.

Garbage service. Quote me for a job , put on the wrong hardware on my gas line that useless for what I needed it for, then treat me like Iâ m stupid that itâ s on me to go get an adapter for the wrong fitting they put on. If the correct hardware wasnâ t available then donâ t quote the job and say you can do it.

The response time was quick the service was incomplete the toilet rocks I smell sewerage the tub has sewerage coming thru it he try fixing one problem and creating another I reached out to the owner no answer I called the plumbing board in baton rouge the company was never heard of (not licensed) he scammed med out of 2,000 didnâ t get a receipt . I reported the business to the better business bureau. Be aware of this company heâ s a fraud and scamming customers with his pricing jobs are higher than most always asked for a license with out a license itâ s hard to sued this company and to get them to correct the problem they created I did my research on this company after the job when I should have done it before BEAWARE

Unprofessional and misrepresented himself to me as one of his own employees.

I hired this company through Angi, he call very quickly, I explained the issue, company told me to buy a new water heater, when he got here he said that it will cost more that the amount was accorded because it was in the attic, the amount after I spoke with another plumbers it was a lot, I got the receipt and it says that the water heater has removed and install the new one, and he did not remove the old one and charge ne for that.

I do not recommend them to nobody.

Do not use this company. They over talk you and over charge. Quality of work is horrible. I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Very knowledgable and helpful. They were quick to call back, quick to show up, and quick to fix our leaky pipe. Quality work at a reasonable price. Would totally use them again just hope I don’t need to repair anymore pipes anytime soon.

I feel that I was overcharged for the amount of work needed to fix a leak from main water line.

came when they said they would. very nice and knew what they were doing. easy to do business with.

They were quick and efficient. The job looks like it was completed in a quality manner. In the future, I believe getting more detailed estimates in advance from contractors to see exactly what is covered and what is not (like hauling away old water heater, and parts such as additional tubing, and additional costs if the old heater is on a stand) would make the process less stressful, though overall I was very pleased with the service. Also, in regard to the Angi app, I felt it steered me into purchasing the heater and seeking only the labor and fees for installation. I would have much preferred getting estimates for everything (heater, labor and fees, parts, hauling old heater away, etc). Also, I found out that certain water heater models are only available to licensed installers---another option I would have preferred. Perhaps Angi can change the app to be more helpful in these ways.

They responded quickly, did what they promised they would do, are reliable, and they truly care for their customers. I highly recommend them.
