Don Goodworth

.It went perfectly! I was busy with other things and was unable to be present while work was being done. Upon completion I was impressed with quality of work and totally satisfied. There was nothing to ask to be corrected or to complain about. It's been nearly a year since completion and have had no problems or reason to call back for any fixes.

He came and gave an estimate for a fence to a client of mine who purchase a home. I do not know if she bought the fence or not.

Went very well.  He was punctual, efficient, responsive and hardworking.

It didn't he was too expensive!

Mr. Goodworth and his partner were punctual, reasonably priced, great carpenters, electricians and overall craftsmen, they were both personable, easy to talk to hard working.  They even cleaned up after one of our dogs when she got excited about the noise the power tools were making and took care of her while we ran an errand. 
We have them coming back in a couple of weeks to add a screen porch and driveway to our house.

We are extrememly pleased with the work. Their craftsmanship was top-notch, and they showed great attention to detail.  Don and Doug were both very pleasant and did a fantastic job working around our schedule. The price was very fair.  Don will be my first call from this point forward for any work that we need done.

Everything went fine.  He certainly lived up to his accolades on Angie's List.  Cleaned up and took the old fan  to the trash for me.  Would absolutely use him again.

He gave me an estimate and we agreed on what he was going to do. Then he accomplished the job. His price was fair too.

Don Goodworth and his partner are two of the nicest, well equipt and talented carpenters I've ever dealt with.  They installed a privacy fence and picket fence in the back yard.  The quality and precission of the cuts and fit were outstanding.  They used quality materials, built them solid and true.  excellent workmanship.
Next they removed tile from the fireplace face and floor and from the bar area in the kitchen.  After removing the tile, they retiled the fireplace and put beaded board on the bar area.  Once again, excellent craftsmanship.  Fitted, painted and finishe quickly .
Once we saw the kind of work Mr. Goodsworth had done, we had him come back and retile the laundry room.  Once again, top notch.  My wife asked if he could change out a few light switches one day when he was available and he said he could do it now.  Five hours he spent changing switches and other various issues.
If that wasn't enough to sell himself... our dog Molly (nervous from all the construction)  regergitated on the dining room rug.  He cleaned it and her up , put her in the back yard until he was through and let her back in.
He is the man.
 We have other work we would like to have done around our place in the next few years and believe me, we will call no one else.

I have had this person before and have been very satisfied.

Excellent work without a mess and painting without problems

He does very good work.  He's done other work and some things he doesn't even charge me.  He's a really nice guy. They put up a fence last year as well and did a great job on that too.

As stated above I called a couple of times to get an idea if he did this work we were asking about as his add says but he never called back.

Wiring for existing fluorescent was about 4 feet from where we wanted the new hanging fixture located.  Don and his assistant had to locate ceiling joists and cut small holes through drywall ceiling and then drill holes through two joists to re-route wiring to new fixture location.  Assembled and hung new fixture over kitchen island.

Never called back

We had problems in finishing the job that he proposed.  The work he did was okay but there are other things in the proposal that needs to be done.  We gave him a deposit and he wants the rest of his money but the job is not yet completed.  We will definitely not recommend him to others.

It turned out really well he did good work.

I got in touch with Mr. Goodworth on 1/24/13 about some repairs to my home. We agreed that he would call me on 01/28 to set up a time to come the next day. i did not hear from him but talked to a man that works with him on 01/31 and that man came by on the same day to take a look at what needed to be done. The man was polite and personable . He said that Mr. Goodwoth would call or email me with an estimate. Today is 02/13 and i havent heard a thing. I rechecked my email,  email trash bin ,spam and answering machine to make sure I hadn't missed his message by mistake . I have not. I have never hired a handyman before so I didn't try calling him back because this just seemed like a bad sign to me. Hope i have better luck with the next name on the list

they did the work as it was discussed and had no problems performing the extra work.

No problem what so ever. Perfect 5 stars.
