Dr. Alissa Whitney is my favorite vet. She is an LSU grad and really knows her stuff! I can ask her all kinds of questions and she is always polite and responsive and provides real answers instead of dismissing me or my fears. Once when one of our dogs ate chocolate (and we didn't know which one) she came in on her day off to comfort me and oversee the situation.
If our dog needs more advanced care (like the time Henry needed surgery for bloat), she doesn't hesitate to refer us to a specialist to make sure our dog gets the best treatment available. She doesn't try to pad her bill or do unnecessary tests.
This clinic is not the cheapest place in Covington, but you get what you pay for. If you want the el-cheapo place, Petsmart isn't that far away. But if you want great service with someone who truly loves animals, then this is the place to go!

He spent about an hour with him. He gave him blood tests. My dog was a rescue. He is very likeable.
