Rick did a good job. Price was pretty close to what I expected. He gave me a price prior to starting the job. He was very thorough and checked out everything I asked.

Rick not only fixed a leaking bathroom sink for a reasonable price, but checked another iffy one for no charge. On the second one, he advised that it would be fine for several months. Rick could have taken advantage of my obviously knowing nothing of plumbing. I appreciate his honesty!

I am happy with the work, but like I said before, the price was a bit steep. I would recommend Rick's Plumbing but be sure to ask for an estimate first.

We called Ricky for an estimate. He came and gave the estimate rather rapidly, maybe the next day. He told us what we needed and where we could get the replacment faucets we needed, which was very helpful. We made the appointmnet to have the work done. The day of the appontment it was wet outside from recent rain and the ground was wet/muddy. Ricky laid down tarps throughout every walkway to both bathrooms so that he wouldn't accidentally transfer dirt/mud to the floors. He was were he said he would be when he said he would be. He did a good job and wasn't in a hurry, as he worked and when he was finished I felt that he was perfectly happy to explain the work performed in as much detail as I wanted. Will definitly call Ricky again and recommend to friends that require the services of a plumber.

If you're reading this review because you need a plumber, look no further. I called Ricky the day before to set up an appointment for a clogged toilet and some squeaking pipes. On that phone call, he informed me that the squeaky pipes could be due to a hose I had connected outside, needless to say he was right. I unhooked the hose and amazingly the squeaking went away. On the day of our appointment he showed up on time, and was very professional and friendly. Not only did he unclog my toilet in record time, he noticed that my toilet wasn't running as efficiently as it should. I had noticed it before, but didn't think much of it. He advised that I have some parts replaced on the toilet to remedy the problem. It took him about a half an hour and now my toilet works like new. I couldn't be happier with my overall experience. If you want someone that is professional, punctual and honest, give Mr. Ricky a call. Just for a frame of reference, I used Mock Plumbing last time I had a clogged toilet, and just to perform that task was $160! Ricky's quote was about half that. Not to mention it took me a few days of calling and waiting for them to call me back, which they never did, just to get them to my house. Don't waste your time with the other guys, make Mr. Rick your #1 pick!

Ricky was there for an inspection, a couple hours the next visit, and a full day the last time (oh, and another day to quickly replace a spout which he didn't have on the truck before). He only charged me around $450 total - he charges for the job, not the hours and is very fair. I am so happy that I have finally found a good plumber in town who is punctual and honest. Highly recommended.

They had to snake the main plumbing line outside and found that there were several obstructions, including what looked like moss. They think that the fix should last and gave a 30-day guarantee but, if it happens again in the next few weeks, the main pipe might need to be replaced, as I live in an older house. This was a huge relief to have it taken care of so quickly and also to not feel like I got gouged price-wise. If this experience is any indication of Mr. Ricky's integrity and way of doing business, I would definitely recommend him to anybody needing plumbing work done.

For the last 3 months I have had a leaking toilet at the bottom of the toilet tank. I was able to put a bucket underneath to catch the drips so there was no floor damage but I had to empty the bucket 2 or three times a day. Time and circumstances forced me to wait on repairs and finally I was able to schedule Rick's Plumbing who I selected form Angie's list. I called him and we set up an appointment for 2/7/13. Before Rick left my house he called me to tell me what he had completed and the total which I felt was very reasonable but then he spent an hour on the phone with me while I discussed other plumbing issues and ideas that I had regarding my W/D, water heater, tub and such. He really set me straight on the reality of what I thought I wanted to do and because of that probably saved me a ton of money, headache and time. He was patient and he didn't talk down to me or laugh at my ideas. He explained how they would or would not work based on my needs or how much it would cost over what I thought I would spend and whether or not I would see any return on my investment. You can book it - He is now MY plumber and I will not hesitate to call him if I have another problem or when I get ready to work on some of my projects!!! Thanks Rick!!! Youda man!!!

I've noticed a nasty smell coming from underneath my house for a couple of weeks now. I had to crawl under the house to turn on a water valve and discovered a puddle of water underneath what appeared to be a drain pipe. I called Rick. Rick came out the next day and arrived when he said he would arrive. He showed up and spent a good bit of time trying to find the source of the water. Once he found it, he described it to me in detail. He even drew me a picture. He described what it would take to fix it and what the risks were in doing this type of repair. What really impressed me was that he provided me a short-term fix that I could do that would get me by for now. I wasn't able to tell him to get started on the proper fix because it wasn't the best time financially for me to do that. Because he gave me detailed instructions on how to "get by for now", I decided to do that for now. He completely understood my rationale for doing this. There was never any pressure whatsoever to do the bigger, proper, more expensive repair. Because of this, I felt like I had a friend who happened to be a professional plumber giving me advice. The estimate for the real fix really wasn't bad at all. In fact, if this plumbing issue didn't coincide with another expensive repair, I would have done it. I am very thankful for the alternative solution Rick came up with that should get me by for a little while. Thanks Rick. You're my plumber from now on. Daniel

Our gas was disconnected by a previous resident, upon calling Rick's he immediatley came out to do pressure test for leaks and took care of all the permits, He even replaced a rusty line. Inspections were done and our meeter was set. He was very prompt and professional. On inspection day he even came by to make sure the pressure was at the correct setting for a good inspection

I had a backed-up toilet that needed immediate attention, and with only one good arm I could not unplug the toilet myself. I found Rick's Plumbing via Angie's list, and was very impressed with his service. He came out the same day and had the toilet fixed in under 30 minutes. He was also very courteous. I will definitely use him again when I am ready to upgrade both of my water heaters.

Rickwas punctual and arrived at my home on Sunday morning a little after 10AM. He explained he inner workings of the toilet and what had to be replaced. He grabbed his tools and fixed the problem in less than 1 hour. He was professional and courteous and the problem appears to be taken care of. I will definitely call him again for any plumbing problems.

Rick came the same day I called him. He fixed a sink that three others had tried to fix. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He is my top plumber now.

He romoved the toilet and got out a plastic bottle I flushed by accident. He replaced toilet with new wax ring and calked the bottom around toilet and floor. Excellent job.

All I can say is AMAZING!!!!! Having dealt with a long list of plumbers it is a breath of fresh air to finally come across a true professional. When you call Rick you will be dealing directly with an experienced tradesman, not just some day laborer trying to up-sell you on services you don't need. He is the actual license holder and his work product is quite evident.

My experience was wonderful. I was given a time, and he was very punctual. He was friendly and professional. I live alone and am leery about letting others in my house, but I had the courage since I got his name from Angie's List. It was a pleasant experience.

On Friday afternoon, I noticed the pressure relief valve on my water heater was leaking. I was able to speak to Rick on my first call. We talked for a good while, he was very friendly and shared alot of information. I asked him to come look and he arrived on time. After he inspected the heater, we all agreed the 40 year old heater needed to be replaced. He offered to do the work the next day (Saturday). He arrived on time Saturday and went right to work. He did a great job. He was very carefull to keep everything clean which we very much appreciated , He was very attentive to all the details . Professional neat job! The work was completed in a timely manner at the quoted price. We will definitely use him again.

A bath tub in my pier style house was leaking profusely when we had water in the tub. I was afraid of the amount of water leaking would mess up something with our foundation. Called him in the morning and he was able to come over within hours. He had the replacement part with him and even came in under the price he originally quoted. Looking at the other plumber reviews for here in Baton Rouge I was afraid of being overcharged, but Rick did the work correctly, quickly, and for an affordable price. I highly recommend Rick, and will definitely use him again in the future!

Rick responded very quickly to a plumbing emergency. He was very professional and quickly repaired the pipe and replaced the outside faucet.

Mr. Rick was a true professional. He diagnosed the problem within 45 minutes, explaining things as he went. He fixed my shower leak and recommended a drywall contractor to help with repairs.

Called Rick, he was on another job, but was able to see my quickly within hour. Was very knowledgeable , found the problem quickly where others would have took much longer. He saved me time and money, he's very honest. We discussed the issues and within a couple hrs it was fixed professionally. Good plumber.
