I like the people that came out. The manager, the lead on that team was very nice. I liked him. He was very nice. Most of them didn't speak English. I think there was one guy who did the roof, was the only one who spoke English. I was very impressed. They did the whole roof in one day. I would give them B for one manner thing. I was really upset with the sales person that came out 'cause I told him that I wanted roof and gutters and I wanted a quote, could he give me a quote and he said yes so he gave me a quote. Of course Lowe's, you have to pay in advance so I went to check the cashier for the quote and when I take it in to load, the guy tells me, "that's just for the roof not for the gutters" and that bothered me because I told you, I wanted both stuff and I said you give me a quote so I'm assuming that that quote is for both.I was really upset and I did some checking and I found out that the quote they gave me was a reasonable price so I went with the architectural shingles and everything. I found out that with the gutters if included, the quote would be higher. I mean, I was comfortable but I just did not like the fact that the sales person was not up front with me. That bothered me and I went back in and everybody, they're not good in customer service. They tried to defend the guy. I sat down with the manager and I said "customer service, if I come back in and bothered about something, you don't defend the guy" I told the guy I talked to the second time I went in "you should have never defended him. You should have taken it from where it was and got on and talked to me". They got a good lesson on customer service. I talked to the guy I eventually signed the contract with and one of the assistant managers and I just told them "that's not the way you do customer service". My husband and I own a business and I know about customer service. I told the guy " I came back to deal with you, and you should have not defended him". That sales man handled things incorrectly. They did what they said. They worked very hard. They came out and did their job and they had it done. I mean, the entire roof was done in one day. They have a magnet, they cleaned everything up.
Description of Work: I had a new roof. Lowe's contracted the work. We used one of their installers.
