We called, they could not provide same day service, and when they did come in the next day, they determined that it needed a new compressor. We had to wait several days as they did not express the part. On Friday they supposedly fixed it. Saturday morning it was not working - the day of a major city wide event on our church grounds and we really needed the freezer. We called the emergency line but no one returned our call - the answering service asked us if we knew we would have to pay the overtime rate - we said no as this was a follow up for the repair they did not do properly. No one called us. Monday I called again and asked why they didn't call back on Saturday and they were vague. When I complained about being asked if we would pay overtime rates he explained that they do not guarantee their repairs on the weekend!!! We would have to pay full overtime rates for a repair they did not do properly if they had indeed come out on Saturday. After much discussion he told me that is the way every business is and I would have to deal with it. Granted it was now a moot point, but I was insulted by his manner and incredulous that they do not guarantee their work. (Something about regular rate work not paying for overtime work - regardless if they fail to make the proper repair during the week) The refrigeration manager came out that Monday and informed us that it was a matter of a switch on the new compressor not being flipped. They did not charge us for this visit. We spent tons of money, had to wait 4 days for the repair, did not flip a switch, would not respond to us in our emergency, and then tell us that they do not guarantee their work on the weekends. I am appalled at the thought that they wanted to charge us overtime for them to come in on Saturday to flip a switch!
