it all went very smoothly. they did their job very professionally as I got here on time and left at a reasonable hour after cleaning up all the mess they left. would recommend anybody.

All company representatives were very friendly and professional. They were punctual and performed their individual tasks as described. The work site was always left clean and neat. They were all a pleasure.

Once again, we called in several companies and got the fairest price with LImbwalker. Chris, the owner, made several stops by the house to make sure things were going correctly. When I had a question, Chris came by my house within 15 minutes (he was in the area, but still pretty cool). The questions I had were my fault, yet Chris did the extra work I thought was going to be done . . . for free. He even came back out, on his own, to check on what I thought was tree sap on my deck. Turns out it was rust from my grill that spilled when they moved it. But he came back and called me to tell me about it. Great service. I couldn't have been any more pleased.

They were on time, got the job done, and cleaned up after themselves. I would have preferred that they cut the larger limbs back a bit more, but that may have been a miscommunication. Just be specific with what you want.

The "Air8" service they offer is very cool. They use something called an air knife to blast away all the soil (i.e., clay) from around the roots of a tree, fully exposing them. That way they can see if any roots are "girdling," which maple trees are bad about. Essentially, a root can wrap around the other roots, and over time the tree essentially strangles itself. Sure enough, I had some girdling roots, which they were able to quickly remove. Then they replace the crummy clay soil with a combination of organic materials that give the tree a better chance of flourishing. It has been about 3 months since the service was performed, and my tree never showed any sign of stress. They also treated my ash trees for emerald ash borers. This treatment was a fraction of the cost that I've been paying another service the last few years, and Limbwalker's treatment is supposed to be good for 2 years rather than just one! So I just saved myself at least 75% off a competitor. What's more, one of the two trees has always seemed to struggle in the 10 years that i've owned it, but the trunk thickened up nicely this summer and old insect damage finally seemed to heal over. I also recently signed up for their lawn program. I have never aerated my lawn in the nearly 11 years I've lived here, and kids run around it all the time. Their fall treatments include both aerating and overseeding, plus the application of a "bio tea" in place of chemical fertilizers. After the results I've seen from their tree treatments, I can't wait to see what they do for my lawn!

Scheduler called several days in advance with service date and time. Technician arrived on-date and on-time. Technician fully explained treatment. Answered all questions and then some. Very professional, yet easy-to-talk-with personnel. Definitely using for more tree work!

arrived day scheduled even though weather lousy. Work done VERY professionally and rapidly. Cleanup was top notch . Work what you would expect for Arborists. These are not guys in pick-ups with chain saws so dont expect those prices. You get what you pay for. Work well worth price.

When I received notice from Angie’s List of a discounted special for tree trimming by Limbwalker of Louisville, KY, I called them directly and asked if they would first give me an evaluation of any work that might need to be done before I bought the advertised half-price special. They said no problem and sent Lee to our home to evaluate our trees. He really restored our faith in humankind! Not only did he tell us honestly that there was no need for any trimming of the large maple in our back yard, but he also gave us a free trim on some of our smaller dogwood trees surrounding it! I give this arborist a rating of 10++ for his outstanding honesty, generosity as well as professionalism!

"I can hardly believe this, but the reason for the above request is that when "Lee" from Limbwalker Tree Service, Inc. came over for a free estimate / discussion he recommended that I wait until the correct time to complete my project. What a stand-up thing to do, a company not just out for a money grab! Lee's professionalism and knowledge was exceptional. He was patient and answered many additional questions that I had. This company will definately get a call back when I am ready to complete my project.

Job went exactly as planned. What a difference having Arborists instead of the run of the mill tree trimmers.

They removed the trees without damaging the surrounding homes. They have also provided a free service to our home owners association. They identify all the trees that have problems with emerald green borer. I found their service to be excellent! I have used many other companies and they are not comparable to Limbwalker.

These guys are great. They got here early on 2/14 and began the task of taking down a beautiful but, unfortunately, large dying oak tree. I asked them for some of the wood to use for the fireplace and to make carvings and they left a lot of beautiful wood. They were done later that afternoon and I had two large piles of wood, including the main trunk. A few days later they came back and ground the stump and a few days after that they were back, again, and removed the chips, replaced it with topsoil and planted grass seed in areas where their equipment had been. I always use them for any tree service and will highly recommend them to anyone that may need their service.

When they came out to give up our estimate, they broke it down by tree and gave their recommendations. We thought we had to have a tree removed, but Limbwalkers informed us that it just needed to be trimmed back. They came out the first day to just trim the trees in the backyard. A couple weeks later after the crane operator was back from vacation, they brought the crane to remove the tree from the front yard. About two days later the stump was ground with the grindings left for us. At the end of each day everything was cleaned up.

I would contact them again in the future.

Excellent experience. Responded to our request for service promptly. Sent estimator to house on time, with advance call as to arrival. Listened to what we needed. Offered counseling on what we should and should not do, with clear answers to our follow up questions. Provided an itemized proposal from which we could choose services to be performed. Communicated promptly via email. Work crews arrived as scheduled and as promised. Work performed efficiently. Excellent clean up afterwards (holes filled - heavy debris raked - lighter debris blown).

They gave me a decent price and the person that came out was very nice to talk to. He was a knowledgable arborist. I've decided I'm waiting until spring to have the work done.
