Just love the window.

We are getting a window from them. He was very courteous. He was very friendly and very good at telling us about the product.

The window we needed to replace was too large for Gilkey to handle. The salesman was courteous, but couldn't help us, so that was the end of it.

We didn?t have any serious problems with them, but we took a lot longer to get the windows. So, we had to have them come back to fix a few things and I don?t really think that it was their problem. They really have helped in keeping the weather especially since we are testing it and we had cold weather lately. Some of the windows were expanded like there were two and they made it a one window and it?s a little cheaper which worked out fine. I have no complains about them and they still have to come back to do the touch up work.

We had Gilkey replace the windows in our previous home in 2000. So when we moved into this home and realized how inefficient the windows were, we knew right away we wanted to use Gilkey again. So we called Gilkey and requested their salesman Kelly to come out and give us an estimate. Kelly came on time, went though our home room by room, measured windows, discussed options and came up with a price for us. Because we were repeat customers, he gave us a good deal! We sent him on his way and let him know we would get in touch when we were ready to get started. We called them several months later, ready to go, and they sent out someone to do precise measurements. It took 8 weeks for the 23 windows to be made (which was the exact time frame they gave us), and then 2 days for them to be installed. They took out all of the old windows and saved the "antique" ones for me that I had requested to keep, stacked them safely out of the way. They put in the new windows and wrapped the outside area in aluminum. They consulted with me about some options when a problem came up regarding some inside trimwork, and they happily created some trim to cover up a problem area. They caulked neatly but thoroughly, and they gave all of the windows a good cleaning. They were very professional and worked quickly. And the new windows look fabulous and better yet, they all open!!

Their workmanship and professionalism was excellent. They took their shoes off when they came inside. After they had left you couldn't tell they had been here except for the beautiful windows. They were a little bit more expensive than the other estimates but they were worth every bit of the difference. I would highly recommend them.

Great, I knew Gilkey wasn't going to be the cheapest, but wasn't most expensive of 4 estimates. I chose them based on window quality and length of time company has been in Louisville. I also got a discount in March due to Home Show month, all other estimators said the same thing. Installation went well done in about 6 to 7 hours. All I had to do was remove blinds from brackets, not sure it was required, but made it easier on installers and assured myself the new blinds wouldn't get damaged. They come inside only to run a bead of caulk around new window. They trimmed outside with low maintenance aluminum and cleaned up yard waste. These two guys knew there stuff and were done quickly. So far so good, windows all work well and look good from outside and are easy to clean. Its a good investment when planning to stay in house 6 or more years, otherwise I may have gone with a lesser priced product. I could tell the difference in build quality between other companies.

We had an excellent experience with this company from start to finish. Bob Mayes was our Project Specialist, and he was superb. He is friendly, low-key, and extremely knowledgeable about his company's product. He also knows floors, and was able to put that experience to work helping us decide exactly which kind of windows and door to install. He steered us to appropriate product, rather than trying to encourage us to get unnecessarily fancy stuff. He has a good eye for design as well, and helped with style decisions. After the job was done, he stopped by to make sure we were happy with everything. Call Bob Mayes he was great! The installation crew was also excellent. They worked hard and cleaned up well afterwords. The end-result is beautiful. We had one small concern about the new door, and Gilkey Co promptly sent someone to deal with it (caused ultimately by the age of the house, not Gilkey). The Gilkey warranty is the best there is, very important.

THEY INSTALLED THE DOORS AND THE WINDOWS BUT THEY DIDN'T CLEAN THEM BEFORE THEY LEFT SO WE HAD TO CLEAN THEM. THEY DID IT ALL IN ONE DAY AND WERE REALLY QUICK.

THE COMPANY WAS VERY RELIABLE AND THERE WAS QUICK SERVICE. THEY DID ALL WINDOWS IN FOUR HOURS. THE PRICE WAS GREAT AND FOR THE QUALITY COMPARED TO OTHER COMPANIES.
