I canceled the job. They did not seem to care one bit about my business or my time.
Description of Work: Closets by Design did not treat me like my business was valued. They did not communicate internally with each other, but called me multiple times with conflicting information that made them look quite unprofessional. I was told a contract with the quote of $900 would be sent to me. It never was sent to me, yet a different contract for over $1100 was emailed to me multiple times. After I had already set up an installation date, someone from Closets by Design called me to see what they could do to get by business and to hopefully set-up installation. Then the day of when I was told the gentleman would arrive between 1-3pm, he called me at 10:30am to tell me he was on his way. All of these small irritations lead to me being completely irritated, as I was paying $900 for a closet, but they did not seem to want to all get on the same page on their end which made them look very unorganized to me. I ended up canceling the job. It was too much money to pay to a company that did not seem to care about my business or my time.

Great! Very smooth and everything was done on time.
Description of Work: Tarrah designed our custom closets and pantry for our homearma house. She came up with a great idea of adjoining our master closet with our laundry room to utilize space and till this day the builder continues to use that idea. Our closet is so functionable. We love everything about it.

Installation was smooth and professional. We now have more rods to hang clothes, PLUS a shelving unit that is set up to suit us. We chose to include a jewelry drawer, which I love. It allows me to see everything easily. We are very pleased with our closet!
Description of Work: We wanted to maximize the space available in our small walk-in closet. Our designer, Tarrah Lutz, assessed our needs and worked with the space we had to design a very usable closet. She was easy to work with, and paid attention to what we wanted.

Excellent. I love my custom closet and it is exactly what I expected. The installers were prompt and professional, the quality and look is superb, and service after the installation was excellent. This was a good investment.

After moving into our 'renovated' house the cheaply hung closet racks collapsed. We called and they had a designer out to review within a week. The person was very friendly and provided us a detailed estimate at her visit. We put down our deposit and scheduled the install. We did have to wait over a month to have the install completed which was inconvenient at the time. However we've been very happy with the work they did and have re-arranged how the closet is organized a couple of times as we've found new ways to better utilize the space they created for us.

This was a $299 big deal purchase and it was okay. I think the final price was just under $3,000. I think their workmanship was good, but we had a closet done in Durham when we lived there. It was probably three or four times as big and it was cheaper. It was a different company, but it was shocking how expensive it was. But there was no turning back. I would not use them again because of the color. I also is not exactly the color I picked so we are going to end up having it painted because of the color. So we are going to have to spend more than what we already have spent, unfortunately .

The job was $2069 and the Summerflame has always been the same color throughout the years. One of the things that we pride ourselves son is that the client has the say so as to where the price goes by choosing what they want to add to a closet. Once anyone starts to add all the upgrades it does make the price go up. We sure do hope you give Elise a call in the future :)

From the beginning to end, everything went great. Their designer, Tara, is very helpful and great to work with, their installers are professional and their product is high quality and worth the money. This was the 4th project they've done for me and I would never use anyone else. I made the mistake of using another closet company a few years back and was very disappointed with them. I can't say enough good things about Tara and the owner, Jeff. This is a reputable, customer-service focused company and I would highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed!

The designer, Elise, did an excellent job designing a closet in my hallway exactly the way I needed it to work. She sent me drawings of two different versions of the closet and I picked the one I liked best. When the installer arrived, he went right to work and was finished within 90 minutes. I am so glad Angie's List had an offer for Closets by Design or I would never have discovered this company.

They were very professional. Their work men did a nice cleaned up in addition to a nice carpentry work they did in the clean-up job. They did have a couple of issues that they resolved and the owner came out and took care of everything and fixed the problem. The quality of the work and the responsiveness is great.

Well, Designer is nice. the installation guys are quick and very professional. Only a few thing I may not notice until I get everything installed. basically I have a reach in area, and right now have a big gap because the sizes of the closet.The quality is good, specially the hangers, after happy about everything and I found out one hanger is shorter, so it have a small gap with the holders. I purchase this coupon which is $299 for the hanger, and I add a drawer and shelves. totally everything is 982.40 (not include doors). The price can not say high, but can not say bad. but I just expecting more. It's a very basic version. I don't know whether I will choose again or not. I want have another closet finished, but it's over my budget. and if it's the same like this one. I will just not choose to have it.

They arrived on time and did a very high level of service to repair and install a custom closet system on the large wall in our master bedroom closet.
