The sales person came at the appointed time and looked over our situation. We had previously had a radon test at the time we purchased the house and knew it was elevated, so he did not perform a test. He explained how the system would be installed and answered all my questions. He gave me a written estimate and we made a $100 deposit to have the work scheduled. They also guaranteed the radon reading after remediation.
A few days later the office called to schedule the work, which was to take about 3-4 hours. It was scheduled out about 2 weeks, as expected. On the appointed day, they called about an hour before the appointed time to see if they could come 30 minutes early. Once here, they explained what they would be doing (same as the sales person had). All-in-all they did a good job based on my inspection, including the attic work. My only complaint was that they could have done a better job cleaning up the dust in the garage where they cut drywall. Otherwise, they cleaned up the work areas good. Before they left, they set up the radon test device.
On the following Monday, the operations manager came to collect the radon test device. He explained the readings and gave us a printed copy of the results which he said is valid for 2 years. The reading was 1.8 (the EPA recommendation is 4 or less), down from 17 when we bought the house. He also answered a couple of other questions that I had and apologized for not cleaning up the garage area satisfactorily.
All-in-all I am happy with the experience and would recommend this company for similar work.

Our service from Aqualock was great! Our technician was incredibly professional and friendly, going out of his way to explain the benefits of what we needed, and taking his time to detail the various options for placement, etc. We would definitely refer them to our friends, and use them again.

They had previously given us an estimate for this work. When we called to have the work done, we were able to get scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. Everything went according to plan. No complaints.

Great, they are very honest and quick to respond. We were selling our house to the company before a transfer and had to have a Rodin mitigation and small mold removal. I was on a time crunch and scheduled. They called when an earlier spot became available. Very professional.

Aqua Lock was the second company to come to our home to give us an estimate. The first estimate was cheaper, but questions were not asked to find the source of the radon. Aqua Lock employees were thorough, professional, and always looked out for our best interests.

I chose this company from 3 bids obtained, because Jay seemed easy to work with, he could do the work soon, and his price was competitive. The installation process went very well, and the crew was professional. John (?) came back after the prescribed length of time to check the system and perform a follow-up radon test. He said the level had come down to within EPA limits, but AquaLock likes to see it lower, so Jay would contact me about further steps he would recommend.
Initially, we had some difficulties with communication about the further remediation that was needed, but in the end it has worked out to our satisfaction. Jay definitely cares about the reputation of his company and works to see that the customer is satisfied.
To the credit of this company, at one point, a branch fell on our exhaust pipe, breaking the rain shield on top, and rain was expected later that day. The Aqua Lock crew came out within an hour of my call and repaired it at no charge. Great service!

It turned out lousy and they have not finished the job. I have been working with them for weeks. I am having a hard time getting them to come back and finish the job. Some of the work is satisfactory. They worked on two places and they continue to leak. I think that the price that they are charging is reasonable.
They followed up on their work to correct the issues less than a week after posting my review. I am very pleased with their work and they really came through like champs.

We are very pleased with them. They were very efficient. They came out and cleaned up their work. They were on time, they came out as soon as possible, we are in the process of filling our home so they got us the paper work information we needed right away so we can get that wrapped up. They are a little bit higher but I think the quality of work is there.

Over all I was very pleased with Aqua Lock but they have to come back because they didn't evalutae what we needed thoroughly enough. Once they realized that we still had a problem, they came back out and addressed further issues at no cost to us. They did everything they could to make up for the mistake they made. What we needed doing is just there were additional problem they didn't realize were there as well. Once they realized, we did fix something we needed to be fixed but we didn't realize this was going on too, they came out and fixed it for us at no extra charge which was really, really wonderful. The only reason I give them a B is because I did ask them, I said "why didn't you figure this out the first time?" The problem was we were trying to sell that house and we were under an awful lot of stress trying to get it ready and I was frankly afraid that this is going to cost me more money but they didn't take advantage of us at all. In fact, they absorbed some of the loss themselves. Everything the did needed to be done, there's no questions, it's that there were some underlying things going on. They didn't understand the scope of it until I called them back and said there is still water in my garage. They flew back out there that day. The man that owns that company has been doing this for over 20 years. He didn't come out initially to assess the problem, he couldn't be everywhere at once so that could have been part of the issue. I did ask them about another issue that affected the waterproofing but that wasn't their area of expertise. All that was was the garage door bottom needed a thicker, newer seal and actually that's not their deal and the contractor that was painting the house said, you're still getting a little bit of water in there. I couldn't use them if I wanted to because they are a two day drive away since we moved. What they did for us on top of that which they didn't charge us for was shoot another a couple of hundred.

Everything went really well. We had 2 different companies come in to quote us for a radon mitigation system after doing a home test and finding our home had a high level of radon, and it wasn't unusual for our area. Aqua lock was very professional, showed up on time and were very helpful in answering all our questions and meeting our concerns. They guaranteed their radon test level to be below EPA standards which I thought was good. Our new system is running smoothly and quietly. Took them only a few hours to install. Overall we are very pleased.

I could not possibly rate Aqua Lock any higher! They were responsive from the start, very professional, and kept in touch throughout the entire process. The employees always showed up on time, and kept everything neat and clean when they left. Once the system was installed, the owner himself returned to go over the process with me and answer any of my questions. Perhaps the best part? Aqua Lock guarantees a radon reading of 2.7 pCi/L or lower, which is the World Health Organization's guide, even though most companies go by the EPA's acceptable guideline of 4.0 pCi/L. Aqua Lock reduced our radon reading from 3.7
to .5 pCi/L. We were completely impressed with this company, and would highly recommend them for all radon mitigation, basement waterproofing, and mold removal jobs!

Radon remediation can take several attempts to lower to acceptable levels and this took three tries. After the exhaust system was installed the levels remained high. Covered the sump pump and still too high. Finally, the vendor had to seal the sump pump. Throughout the process the vendor remained in touch and showed up at appointed times.
