The technician was on time, friendly, and helpful. He was not able to fix the problem due to the age of the appliance, but he was thorough in his evaluation and explanation of the problem.

They recommended that I get a new washer rather than spend the money to repair the old one.  They also cleaned the dryer, and provided me with a bottle of cleaning fluid designed for use on the appliances.

Terrible!  They said they called, but my phone never rang.  We waited hours for them, and when they finally showed up, Ted impatiently rings the doorbell and knocks on the door like my husband was supposed to be standing there waiting AT the door.  Ted comes in and evaluates our appliances, and we were charged $69.50 for the service call and $125 for labor (before coupon),   Ted was not personable, but acted indifferent and wanted to leave without attempting to fix anything!  My husband was not having it.  He insisted that he replace the part we needed in the stove, which he did, and Ted was then hesitatant about cleaning up after himself.    My husband was furious, and said he would not get the check if he didn't clean up and put everything back where it was.  AAble was a huge disappointment and we would not use them again.

Will be purchasing the part shortly and doing the repair. If all else fails I will call them back for a service run. Also their window of times where promote and won't have you waiting around all day for someone to come.

We have used this company multiple times for our Bosch washing machine, our GE oven, and our GE refrigerator. They come out within 24 hours usually, and are very fast, professional, and reasonably priced. We use them for all of our appliances.

I have an LG frontloader that gets used heavily.  A water pump went out
over the weekend so I called AAble since they were in the top ratings
here on Angieslist.  They did not disappoint... I called on Monday, they
were here Tuesday on time, inspected the washer to determine what parts
they needed, back again on Wednesday to make the repair.  Ted was our
technician, very friendly, loved my dog and vice versa, he stayed on
task and had the repair done in about an hour.

Found Ed to personable and pleasant to work with. 

company called to verify my appointment which was nice.then day of appointment I was called to let me know they were on their way. the service man was very polite and nice.he showed me the problem and gave me an estimate.he fixed the problem. I have used this company twice and would use them in the future.

very professional ,explained the problem completely, and provided a quoted. Agreed to price and he immediately repaired unit. Did an excellent cleanup afterwards. Company followed up with a phone call a few days later.

I was called before the arrival of service person and was told he would be there within 30 minutes. When he arrived over an hour later I asked him what took him so long and he replied he was across town. Upon my description of washing machine problem and without checking any parts out to see if they were defective he told me the machine needed a transmission but that he could not repair the machine today because they had him scheduled too heavy. At this time I told him I would just go and buy a new washer since I had to get some laundry done. He proceeded to call and get the price of a replacement transmission and a clutch even thought I just wanted him to leave so I could purchase a new machine. He did get the garbage disposal running by putting his hand down the drain.

When confronted with these facts, Sandy, the office manager from Aable, was totally unresponsive, first asserting one personal and professional excuse after another for not being able to address or remedy the problem, and then ultimately being unwilling to address the problem at all, insisting that we needed to work instead through the insurance carrier for David, the technician.  After days of additional delay, and numerous telephone conversations with the insurance carrier, the insurance carrier conducted a thorough investigation, concluded that David was at fault because of the improper repair, and agreed to cover the cost of the repair of the damage to the wooden floor, which is estimated at approximately $2,100.  The insurance carrier stated that its liability insurance coverage did not include the actual damage to or repair of the dishwasher.  So, we then repeatedly, and nearly daily, spoke with Sandy requesting that Aable repair the dishwasher, but Sandy claimed one excuse after another for delay, until finally on April 30, when Sandy advised us that the pump assembly for the dishwasher was no longer being manufactured, and our only option was to buy a new dishwasher.  When we expressed surprise that the part could not be obtained, since the dishwasher was only two years old, she insisted that we had no choice but to buy a new dishwasher, and that Aable would provide reasonable compensation for the value of the old dishwasher, which Aable was taking responsibility for having ruined.  At Sandy's request we provided her with the Model and Serial Number, purchase date, and purchase cost of the ruined dishwasher, and she indicated she would speak with the "higher ups" to make things right.  On or about May 2, we purchased and installed a new dishwasher in reliance on Sandy's assertion and promise on behalf of Aable, and disposed of the ruined dishwasher.  During the course of the replacement of the ruined dishwasher, the installer also confirmed that Aable?s technician David had used an improper clamp on the hose, ruining the dishwasher and causing the damage to the wooden flooring.  Subsequent repeated telephone calls to Aable seeking reasonable compensation for the ruined dishwasher went unreturned or further excuses were provided, until on or about May 10, when Sandy for the first time indicated that she had been wrong, that the necessary part to repair the dishwasher was available after all, but was on back order.  Nevertheless, she once again indicated that she would provide reasonable compensation for the ruined dishwasher.  Aable subsequently offered first $100.00, then a "final" $300.00 to settle our claim.  Only after we threatened a lawsuit  and other damages did they reimburse the cost of the original attempted repair, and pay $575.00, which did not come close to the cost of replacing the original dishwasher, which was over $1,200.  We are still trying to get our floors repaired, which the insurance company has agreed to cover.  I would never use this company again.  They do not stand behind their technicians.  I would discourage anyone else from using Aable. 

Everything went well. We live in Prospect, near Costco. Saturday, we find out that our refridgerator/freezer doesn't work. Called AAble. A nice lady/receptionist informed us upfront what it would cost just to have a technician come by to diagnose the problem. She also told us what she thought the problem would be and that it could only be fixed on Monday. After I agreed, she had the technician on the phone (Dave/David). Dave asked me one question, and basically diagnosed the problem. He came to our place in about an hour or so. He confirmed what the problem was. It took him 5 minutes or less. He told me what it would cost to fix it, and how to prevent future problems. Dave didn't have the spare part, so he came back on Monday and fixed it in 10 minutes. Professional guy, and was patient in explaining things to me. Saved me from buying a new refridgerator/freezer (>$1000)  

Roger was very good and prompt. Just took too long to find the problem which ended up being a loose fitting from fixing the first problem - went 3 weeks with no refrigerator.

This company has repaired my appliances several times and the have always been very dependable.

Impersonal, unresponsive, pre-occupied in obtaining service fee for no work other than driving to residence.

Came home Friday evening to find everything in my fridge/freezer melted and warm.  Found this company that performs service on a Saturday and called them.  Got an appt. for Saturday between 12-3pm.  They called about an hour earlier than the target window and said they had someone who could be at my home in a few minutes if it was convenient. I said yes, of course.  The tech diagnosed the problem of the condenser's motor very quickly, got the part from his truck and installed it. The fridge/freezer has been working fine ever since.  I have a basic model Whirlpool that is only 4 years old.  Spending 260.00 seemed a bit expensive, but I was satisfied to get service on a Saturday and to get a working fridge / freezer back.  The price was worth it to me.
I was impressed that they showed up before schedule, found the problem quickly and fixed it with no issues.  I will use them again in the future.

He replaced it with a Whirlpool brand because it was cheaper.  He explained the problem with the icemaker and answered any
question I had.  I would use them again.
