When I called I was told there would be a $50 travel charge and I accepted that, I knew what the problem was I just didn't have a snake long enough to reach the clog. I figured $100, after the tech arrived he said there would be an additional charge of $214 along with the $50 travel charge.
I was amazed, he had to snake out a drain, the clog was approximately 40 to 44 feet down the drain and it was going to cost me over $200.
Well it is fixed and warrented for 6 months but I will be going to by a 50ft snake for the next time.

They showed up right on time. They were there for fifteen minutes. They gave me a tool so that next time it happens; they showed me how to fix it myself so I didn’t have to call them. They were great.

Good. They are responsive and professional. It wasn't an emergency but they had someone out within two hours. They replaced our old bathroom sink faucet fixture which had started to leak. Price did seem a little high.

We had good service from them. They came real quickly. They were in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. So far, what they did seems to be working. I assume the price was right for the work like that because we didn't have time to get estimates on.

The guy that came out was very professional. He was talkative and told us what to do. We spent $110 and we had a coupon for $25. They forgot to take the coupon off and it took a while but we eventually got our $25 back. We would use them again.

They were there when the said they would be, neat and clean. We knew the cost before they started the work. I thought the price a little high for 30 minutes of work, but it was better than the alternative.

The service was prompt, professional and reasonably priced given the quick response time. (The only down-side is that the plumber recommended Coit to do the cleanup. Coit cleaned up but is not someone I would call again. At least Mr. Rooter had someone to recommend, however, and I do not fault them for the Coit service.)

The owner of the company, David, had done a plumbing repair for us a few years back,doing business as CPR (Complete Plumbing Repair). I liked that he was prompt, honest and did not overcharge. When I called him last week to come back and look at a leak in my upstairs bathtub, he mentioned he was now doing business as "Mr. Rooter". He did not explain to me that it was a franchise he had purchased and that he was sending his hired plumbers to do the work. I was disappointed that he had not come himself. I did get a "same day appointment". A man named Chris came along with another guy who was in training (forgot his name). I was offered a discount if I would sign up for the "Advantage Plan" at $99 for 3 years which would give us a plumbing check up and other little perks such as "priority scheduling" and "periodic specials" . I hired a plumber and I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman! Chris was otherwise courteous and professional. They did a good job, but for a plumber,it looked like an easy job. The men did wear boot covers on their shoes to keep mud off our floors, but when they cut open the ceiling to check for a leak in the plumbing up above, they left the big drywall mess of "crumbs" for me to vacuum up. They worked very quickly, after all, time is money! Overall, I felt like I was overcharged for an easy, quick job. $500 for a couple of hours of work is just too expensive for me! Next time I will get a few more quotes before I decide to go with Mr. Rooter.

"I am sorry the member feels this way, however all of our prices are discussed fully up front and signed off on before we ever start the job. I understand that you have used CPR plumbing in the past, however if I had still been CPR I would still be a one man operation with no health insurance or workers compensation. I am sorry, I didn't inform you of us being a franchise, after 3 years I didn't feel it was necessary..although we still offer the same great customer service and over 65% of our business is repeat business. We have several customers that have used our services when we were CPR Plumbing and they have no problem at all, they actually compliment us for our after hours and weekend work at no extra charge. I hope you will still do business with us and no way would I ever want you to be unhappy with our services, if we had known in the office that Chris didn't clean up after himself we would have had him drive back out and clean it up without a problem .. It is our policy to do so. I respect your opinion about the price, but our price is set to cover the cost of keeping our business open and to be able to have our phones answered after hours and provide our technicians with some sort of benefits, most of the plumbing companies that aren't charging a fair amount have closed their doors, because they can no longer afford to stay open. Please accept my sincere apologies, it is our policy to discuss all prices up front and signed off on before we ever start the job, and this is exactly how your situation was handled. They were very professional. They came the same day I called. They wore shoe protection and a floor mat to clean their shoes with. The contract explicitly stated everything in clear terms. Excellent service provider.

Great. We noticed the leak on a Saturday afternoon and called several places, who either didn't return our call or told us they were booked for a week. Mr. Rooter took our information professionally and had someone out to our house in 90 minutes. The plumber was professional and courteous, explained everything he was going to do, went over the estimate and cleaned up when he was done.
