GINGER'S BARBER SHOP

I was in a foul mood. I had spent the last year-and-a-half growing my hair to donate for a cancer wig. It was well past my shoulders. My situation changed where I had to get an "All American Boy Haircut" and I could not wait to schedule one with my regular provider. I found Ginger's Barbershop on the web. The reviews were good.

The shop is located in an older home that has been converted into a shop. There are several of these former home/shops in a row. Parking is in the rear but I was able to park around the corner without any problems. It is a small shop with great character.

I walked in the shop at 5:33. The shop closes at 6. Ginger had a free chair and sat me down immediately. She asked questions about how I wanted my hair cut and questioned me several times to confirm that I what I really wanted. She was nervous and asked me about the progress several times. Her professionalism with my dour mood was really great. The hot lather shave for the back of my neck totally cinched the deal and pulled me out of my mood.

Even though I have my regular much closer to home - I will recommend and visit Ginger's without any hesitation. It was a great service for a great price. Walk-ins were welcomed!
