COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Lexington

We saw COIT's newspaper ad for 50% off. Called on Jan 2, 2012 (this was the New Year's Day holiday Monday) and talked to answering service. Set up technician appt for estimate on Tuesday Jan 3rd, after 12:00 noon. Technician called at 11:15 AM, was enroute and would arrive around noon... which he did. He explained that the cleaning charge is based on the number of register and return outlets (regular price $35.00 each, 50% off price $17.50 each), plus the return plenum (regular price $100.00, 50% off price $50.00), plus $15.00 service charge (fuel surcharge)... and optional furnace coil cleaning (regular price $150.00, 50% off price $75.00). Although I think $35.00 per outlet and $100.00 for plenum is a bit high (I think $20-$25.00 and $75.00 would be more reasonable), the 50% off made it more attractive so we agreed (12 registers, 4 returns, and plenum only... not the coils) and scheduled to have it done the same day (although within the next day or 2 would have been OK). Richard and Vincent arrived around 2:45 PM. They were very professional and personable. They explained the process, unloaded the vacuum unit and hoses, and set to work. They were careful and conscientious and cleaned up any messes made. It took them about 2 1/2 hours start to finish.
Would I use them again? Yes... but not for the and quot;regularand quot; price. This would have cost us $675.00 without the 50% discount... much more than I'd be willing to pay for this service.

They are good. I thought that did an exceptional job. My overall experience is great. They are really great. They are just excellent all around. I would use them in the future.

The technician was very thorough, polite and worked very hard to get the funiture completely clean. Its appearance is a vast improvement over its condition after a move.

Both the gentleman who provided the estimate and the two men who actually provided the work arrived in a timely manner. It was obvious that they wanted and appreciated my business. It took three hours to complete the work and I believe the job was very through. They showed me the filters as they changed them in the machine and very very friendly throughout. We recently moved to this older home and it was obvious that the ducts had never been cleaned. The downside:I didn't get other quotes so this may not be fair but it was more expensive than I anticipated. They cleaned up fairly well, but would have appreciated a little more, especially in the basement. Lastly, the machine blew the circuit on the outlet they originally were using to run the machine and didn't say anything to me, just moved to another outlet. I'm happy with the nice clean air ducts however and would consider using them again for other services.

They did a good job. they were real professional, clean. They were very conscientious about keeping the house the way they found it. I think it helped, I really do.
