They came and gave me an estimate 2 hours after I called them. They should up to do the work when they said they would. They workmanship was excellent and professional. I would definitely use them again

The technician arrived on time and checked the unit over as advertised. No problems were discovered. I have rated it with C's because there were no problems but nothing extraordinary either.

Removed ceramic heat sensor and sanded it. Stated since the furnace was in the laundry room it attracts chemicals from dryer sheets and thing like that..

Much better price than competitors. Also had a 3 year service agreement instead of 1 year offered by the competition. Came when they said they would. Removed old equipment and installed new. It took about 8 hours. Cleaned up. Programed the new thermostat. Great job.

Very impressed! Called at 4:17p with A/C out. Instructed to call after 5p for night call person. NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR THE AFTER HOURS REPAIRS!! Called at 5:34p, & he came several hours later!! Office called twice to let me know the status. Great communication! Super nice guy (Eric), that explained everything very well, & taught me several things that I did not know. The $69 coupon helped TREMENDOUSLY!! He showed me the defective capacitor & explained how they go bad. Taught me the life expectancies of A/C and that the leaking freon is a sign that it is going bad. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Very reasonable prices, very honest, friendly and dependable!!

Excellent. They called when they were coming. Showed up as promised. Fixed the air conditioner. Explained everything to me. Also called my husband an went over everything with him.

First, my heat was out for 5 days. Under 40 degrees each day. The people who installed my furnace in 1996 came out right away when asked. They wanted $621 for a part to fix what I have. Since my AC has needed recharging the last few years I asked for an estimate to replace everything. I was told about $6700, ballpark. I found INDEPENDENCE MECHANICAL on Angie's List. They offered a free estimate. They came by within 2 hours. And they called me about 30 minutes after they left with my quote. A YORK high efficiency gas furnace, a YORK 2 ton AC unit and a whole house humidifier all for $4371. That was their qoute. Their qoute includes everything. Installation, taxes, any services rendered...EVERYTHING. Also, since I was with no heat, Their policy is to give residents without heat, priority. So they actually rescheduled a commercial job and was knocking on my door the very next morning at 8:30. Everything was replaced. All control lines, all gas lines and they even repositioned my outside AC unit at my request for no extra charge. YORK equipment is still made in America. They where done just a little after 5. They removed all of the old equipment and cleaned up after themselves. Nobody wants to spend $4400 for an expenditure they didn't call for..... however, without a doubt, I didn't waste a penny. I'd recommend INDEPENDENCE MECHANICAL, HANDS DOWN!!!!!

They were on time. He knew what he was doing. They repaired the heating system quickly and thoroughly. The pricing was fair.

I am retracting the negative review I submitted last week. The owner of Independence Mechanical called me this morning to apologize for the mistake of not giving me a credit for a coupon for a free service call I found the day after they came to fix my air conditioning unit. I am happy to say I will continue to use Independence Mechanical for my heating and air conditioning needs. My air conditioning unit is 16 years old, so...

I called them, and within 24 hours they were out here fixing it. They are good HVAC people.
