lawn mower repair
 + -1 moreI had bought a riding lawn mower there 2 years ago. The engine stopped working. I called them. They checked and said the engine was still under warranty. Due to the timing of the issue I had to wait 2 weeks to get it in and then another 2 weeks for them to get the parts in and fix it. It has worked fine since then. I had to pay the transport fee to and from their location - about $140.
Description of Work: Repaired a bad engine in a riding lawn mower purchased at that business.

 + -1 moreI told my my neighbor about my experience and he said that another friend of his had a similar story. They don't seem interested in the smaller sales at all.
Description of Work: Upon a neighbor's recommendation I went to this retailer to look into and hopefully purchase a string trimmer for my lawn. I went inside the store and after looking at the trimmers myself, needed to talk to a sales person to ask some questions. There were three employees in the store, so when one was available I asked for assistance. He was clearly not interested in helping me and soon after deserted me for another family looking to purchase a large tractor/mower. He sent a person from behind the counter to help me, who was unable to answer any of my questions. I left without making a purchase and with great disappointment. They appear to only be interested in selling big ticket items.

 + -1 moreThis provider name has changed to Pleasant Valley Outdoor Power. Company picked up riding lawn mower same day that I called. I was disappointed with how long it took to complete the service but was pleased with overall quality and price of service performed. Mower was delivered back to house the day it was completed.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID A NICE JOB SERVICING MY MOWER. THE MOWER RAN AND CUT GRASS MUCH BETTER AFTER THEY WORKED ON IT. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AT THE SHOP AND HELPED ME LOAD/UNLOAD THE MOWER INTO THE VAN.
Description of Work: SERVICED MY PUSH LAWN MOWER. CHANGED OIL, FILTERS, PLUG. SHARPENED THE BLADE.
