A New Rooftime

Their estimate was a full $1000 under all the other bids I had received. They seemed like an ok company, but I felt I would be charged for any extras, which would add up quite quickly. It just didn't add up.

Process went well overall. The guys were very polite and professional. The product didn't involve a great deal of mess or challenges in installation. Put the hose in easily through an open window in my dining room and wound it up to the attic. They took the time to let me see the progress as it occurred. Even vacuumed the few small pieces of fluff that had landed on the carpet. Installation occurred a couple days before we were hit with several inches of snow. I was surprised to see how long that snow stayed on my roof! Dale came back later with a form created by Owens Corning to help me get the tax deduction next year. Great work. I'd recommend to anyone.

The process started with a free estimate/analysis of my roof. Dale and Sandy both spent time on the phone with me answering questions. I was impressed with their timely and thorough responses. The price, and the fact that they made me feel so comfortable, led me to decide to go with this company as opposed to the 2 other estimates I received. Shortly thereafter, I noticed plaster damage on the inside of my home. I emailed a few times with Sandy, and then Dale came out to inspect. He was able to quickly assess a reasonable method of repair - fixing a leak, and rectifying the fact that my house was significantly under-insulated. I appreciated his explanations of how all "the parts" of the house work together. The insulation work would become part of a second job. The roofers were here last week, and I was very impressed. There were 8-9 guys here and the roof was complete in one day. They answered my questions politely and left the yard/driveway very clean when they finished. The roof looks fantastic. Dale came by the day after to check it out - and explained a little more about the process when I had questions. The cost was great - the company was great - I highly recommend!

All of my dealings with Dale & Sandy were very professional, informative and pleasant. The work was performed timely and clean up was very good. All work was done in a professional manner.

Everythying turned out very well. I appreciated that they called me back, because I had trouble with other roofers returning my calls. They showed up when they said they would, and did what they said they would do. They were not pushy, and did not try to pressure me. They actually took pictures of my roof so they could show me what needed to be done and explained everything thoroughly. They applied an Angie's List discount, and their rates were reasonable. I was happy with them and would use them again.

Based on my experience looking at contractors for my roof, I hired Roof Time to do the siding because the roof turned out so well.

They came out within 1 day of my call, took pictures, prepared clear easy to read quote and fixed everything professionally. Good company.

This was the first of annual checks of the roof provided to customers who have had new roofs installed. It is a wonderful service, performed well and promptly. This company takes care of their customers.

I called for an estimate on roof damage from recent storm. Dale from roof time responded promptly to schedule an appointment to give me an estimate. He took a great deal of time to explain many aspects of a roof project. We examined the roof and discussed options for repair/replacement. I went with a complete replacement since my insurance company was involved. They also helped working with me and my insurance company so that we could stay within budget. We scheduled the work and the crew was completed in two days. They were very professional, thorough, and detail oriented in their work and took time to explain to me many aspects of their progress. When they were complete, the work looked great.

They are very prompt and reasonable. We have always had good luck with them and will continue to use them in the future.

A nice man came and talked to the insurance lady. The crew came quick to install the new roof. We had buckets to catch water so we needed a fast job.

This went the best of any roofing contractor that we called (3). The estimate was completed in a timely manner ( a few days). The work was completed within a week ot two. We were called to say they had a cancellation, and fit us into the open slot. We went to look the next day. The roof was completed as expected. The yard was completely clear of any trash or nails. The owner was very courteous and offered his services free for the next 5 years, at no additional charge.

They did an excellent job and I was very happy with the result. They were very respectful, professional and efficient. They also cleaned everything after the work was done. The only drawback was that it took a little longer for them to respond.

I was not happy with this company at all. I went thru angies list to find them and went to the web site filled out the details. But never set up any appointments for an estimator to come out, but a few weeks later I get a call and supposedly an email was sent with estimate but it wasn't. I spent too much time going back and forth with them to find out about an estimate for my re-roofing job. I don't know when or if any estimator came to my house (I do things by appointment) or if they were shooting from the hip (guessing what my house is like based on what I mentioned in the contact us on their website).

Very nice to work with, matched our shingles exactly. Can not tell any difference, excellent workmanship, and reasonable priced.

They were prompt and did the work quickly. There was wind storm in this area and it was a busy time. Everybody in this area was getting their roof done. They were very professional. There were two problems. Two pieces of the tile had fallen off the roof and I had to do it myself. They just gave some money for it. The texture did not match and I was not happy about it. I was not happy that the gutter was stuffed. I could have gone on and on but I gave up. They were responsive.

Looks great & works great. Excited to use rain water to water my garden this summer.

I posted this complaint in March 2009, then took it down when the company president promised me he would take care of a list of my issues. They completed the work and the 1st time it rained my roof was leaking in 3 places and the gutter they were supposed to have rehung was backing up and overflowing: they had actually failed to rehang it at all. They eventually returned and spent a half day re-doing the work, and the leaks have stopped and the gutter was rehung so it flows correctly. But this spring I noticed that when they rehung the gutter, they exposed the wood undersurface of the roof so that there is exposed wood on my roof. Too, several of the trim pieces they put up have fallen off the building. I called this week to have them come out again. I was told they would be there on Tuesday: I waited at home all day, but no call to apologize or reschedule. Have heard nothing for 4 days. I've decided to pay a contractor I trust to repair the damage so I can feel good about the work. I would never use this company again: I really don't want them on my property. The company president returned to promise they would fix a list of items I complained about. That was in May. And that was the last I've seen him or heard from him. He told me the day he was here that he would email me the list, then schedule the repairs. When I didn't hear back, I sent an email with the list as I recalled it. No response. I followed up with a letter in the mail. No response. I waited for over 2 months, then decided to hire another contractor come out and make the repairs at additional expense to me.

Good overall. Professional company. We haven't had a really hard rain since the new roof was completed, so I don't know if there are any leaks or not. The people have been fine to work with, they're very cooperative and friendly. They seemed to know what they were doing, I'm no roofer so I can't go out and look at it and determine whether they did a good job or not.

The initial communication caught Roof Time at an extremely busy period, so there were some delays. The workers were very professional, courteous, and hard working, truly seeking to provide quality work, and customer satisfaction. The second time we called after further storm damage, we received an immediate return call(I called before they opened for business that day)and very shortly a crew arrived to make the necessary repairs. Again, very professional, and friendly; all in all, I will certainly call Roof Time in the future for gutters, roofing, etc.

Our roof was damaged during the hurricane(lost shingles). Roofing companies were extremely busy; Roof Time was one of the very few that actually returned our call. We received a written estimate for the work the same day. The price was reasonable. Work started within one week and was finished in less than 2 days. Roof Time told us when the shingles and the dumpster would be delivered(which arrived on time)and when to expect the workers. We were always kept in the loop of what was going on and everything happened as scheduled. We were extremely lucky to have the work done so quickly, many of our neighbors had to wait for weeks with the companies they were using. The work was done in a very professional manner and we have even received compliments about our new roof.
