FREE Written Estimates! No Money Down Contractor! Celebrating 16 years in business!
A New Rooftime began in 1996, when Ricky and Sandy Feltner started a small family business that they operated out of their home.
By 1999, Ricky's company (Preferred Roofing), had grown large enough to include his son, daughter, son-in-law, along with some terrific work crews. Together the company earned a ranking in R.S.I. magazine's Top 100 Contractors in America (Oct 1998)
Ricky passed away at the end of 1999, and the company struggled to carry on without his dynamic leadership.
Today Ricky's legacy has been preserved by no less than five roofing contractors that were once part of his vision, all successfully operating their own companies using the same principles and ideals he established over 15 years ago!
At Rooftime, Sandy's daughter Missy still answers the phone (even at nights and on the weekends) and Ricky's grandson Justin is now an Owens Corning certified Roofing and Insulation Inspector!
A New Rooftime is a true family owned and operated business with deep community roots; over fifteen year's business experience, and is now into their third generation of serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
A New Rooftime has been certified by Owens Corning as a "TOP OF THE HOUSE" professional. The company attends annual training certifications to keep current with VENTILATION, INSULATION, RADIATION and how they affect roofing shingles and property values.
A New Rooftime exclusively sells and installs the Owens Corning line of roofing and insulation products.
In addition to being experts at roof repairs, new roof installations and attic insulation, their other services include professional SKYLIGHT repair and installation using the VELUX brand, as well as chimney repairs and Box gutter repairs.
Estimates are free and include an attic inspection & color digital pictures of what the estimators find.
A New Rooftime utilizes all the best of today's technology such as thermal imaging cameras to pinpoint hidden leaks and decay, and satellite measurement software to offer 'to the inch measurements" for "to the penny pricing'.

We have used this company in the past to install new gutters, soffits and siding. We were very happy with their work. So, when our old skylights began to leak, we knew who to call. Dale came out to give us a quote within a week. He brought us a brochure of the skylights they offer and we discussed our options. We made our decision and he placed the order. As soon as the new skylights came in, they called us to install them. We didn't even have to be home. We are very please with their work and will definitely use them in the future.

Excellent job. I called and scheduled an appointment. Dale came out to estimate the job. He wrote up the estimate on site and gave me a good understanding of the work that needed done. He actually suggested some ways to save money, rather than trying to upsell everything. I chose RoofTime after discussing with two different contractors. He actually got to my job sooner than expected because he had a crew in the neighborhood already. The crew did a good job and cleaned up after themselves well. We replaced the siding on one side of the house because it was damaged. Dale's color recommendation worked out great to blend in with the rest of the house.

It turned out to be a two-day job because of the weather. They were very professional. They came in and they did what they needed to do, nothing different. They weren’t messy. The dumpster that they brought in was like a trail on wheels and it didn’t crush my driveway. They were hard workers. The man in-charge was quick to answer any questions that we had. We had some questions regarding the venting afterwards and so he came back and sorted it all out. Everything is fine now. We were very happy with them. My neighbor had used him and we felt better with him. He took pictures during the job, so that we could see what was going on. There were few issues that came up and we discussed it.

While cleaning out the attic above my garage, I discovered damage caused by an animal that had entered through a vent in the roof. Although the animal was gone, I knew the hole had to be repaired. Also, I recently noticed bricks had fallen off the chimney, along with the fact that I needed my gutters cleaned and reattached. I called A New Roof Time based on reviews I read on Angie's List. Justin (the owner's son) came out to give me an estimate. After climbing up on the roof, Justin found the situation was much worse than originally thought. He showed me a picture of the chimney and not only were many bricks laying on the roof, but it also need to be capped. He found where the animal had entered the attic in the garage and explained how this would be repaired. Then he told me how bad the roof itself was. Even though the roof was only 17 years old, it had not been put on correctly (which I already knew), and had caused damage to the gutters. Nails were popping through the shingles. Although Justin didn't even know I would go with his estimate, he proceeded to hammer some of the nails down on the roof and the gutters, just to hold me over until someone could make repairs. He spent a good 45 minutes checking things out, and did I say it was about 86 degrees out that day? I was given 2 estimates, one for all the repairs needed done, and another for those repairs and a new roof. Both estimates were more than appropriate. I decided to go with Roof Time based not only on the estimate, but also because of the thorough explanations and professionalism provided by Justin. He even suggested a shingle color that, once the roof was complete, couldn't have looked better! Because of all the rain, we had to reschedule several times, but once they got here, everything went smoothly. Knowing it was going to be in the 90's, they got here at 6:45am and were finished with the entire job around 3pm. Dale (the owner) came out during the day just to make sure everything was going according to plan. I couldn't be happier with the result and I feel everyone involved did an excellent job. I would highly recommend A New Roof Time!

They were excellent. They were in and out and cleaned everything up. We had snow while they were working and would call ever 2 days to check in with me. They didn't want to be paid until we told them everything was okay. I've received a phone call from them offering to come out and inspect everything just to make sure the work is all still okay. They were awesome. I definitely recommend them to others.

Awesome job! After researching all of the companies on Angies List and calling around, I settled on 3 different companies to invite out to provide estimates. The estimater was on time, looked professional and treated us like a customer should be treated. The estimate was the second lowest. Our experience with the estimater is what moved Rooftime to the top. We weren't "just another job". He made us feel like we were the only job. To complicate things, I am in Columbus. This roof was for my mothers home. It was challenging coordinating all of the details including type of shingle, color, date of installation, etc from a distance. However, they made it easy. They were more than willing to work with me, very patient and very understanding. When the crews arrived, they were on time and respectful of our poperty. They took extra caution around the plants and shrubs. They were meticulous in cleaning up after themselves. They finished on time and on budget. I have recommended them to several others over the past year and I will continue to do so. I can be a very picky person. I have rather high standards. It is rare for me to be completely satisfied with a contractor. In this case, I am very, very happy. Highly recommended.

Our old skylight was leaking. We had a new Velux skylight installed. It looks and works great! Dale was kind enough to do a thorough roof inspection in addition to the estimate for the skylight, and pointed out minor issues that needed to be resolved with our gutters and ridge vents. He also pointed out issues that could be resolved, but since they were not causing us any problems, we weren't pressured to have them repaired. I always appreciate a business that is honest and doesn't tell you that you need to do things that don't necessarily need to be done. To me that is a business of integrity. My husband and I highly recommend Rooftime, we'll definitely call them again for any of our roofing issues.

Both my wife and I were impressed with A New Roof Time from start to finish. There was no pressure to buy the product or the services and Dale took his time to explain everything to both my wife and myself prior to , during and after the job was done. His crew was courteous to both of us and answered our questions as they came up. Even though there was a mess in the yard from cut shingles and plastic shingle wrap, all debris was cleaned up as promised. They even made sure the plastic wrap from both the shingles and insulation did not go all over the neighborhood by crumpling it up into balls and stuffing them into either a bag or a can. A couple of small shingle scraps and two nails were found after they left the job site but not enough to bring Dale (or one of his crew) back to correct. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience doing business with Dale and the 'A New Roof Time' company.
Description of Work: Called A New Roof Time because of ceiling plaster deteriorating by the fire place. Dale confirmed what I suspected that the roof was leaking again by the chimmey somewhere. He also did a visual inspecting of the roof showing us pictures of the 'wear and tear' from the storms and winds, even a shingle with a nail poking through it. Using a thermal imaging device, Dale showed us where heat was escaping from the living space into the attic a result of insufficient insulation. Dale then took his time explaining how his company would add additional insulation in the attic and at the same time replace the roof shingles. We discussed all the work for the house (including the attic), garage and shed and the prices for each location. Dale went out of his way to drop off sample shingles so that we could decide on the roof color. Either Dale or his office kept us informed as to the date of the work and the revised date when it was postponed once. Dale was on site with his crew as promised Wednesday 3/23/2011 off loading the shingles and the insulation. By 9:30 am both the insulation and the roofing crews were working, between threatening clouds. Best part Dale does not believe in using illlegal aliens to complete his work. He believes in the true American Spirit of using Americans to do the work. This was very refreshing for both my wife and myself.

Great experience. Got a hold of Dale and he advised he could be out next day. Did a great job educating on product he was going to install. Qoute was comparable to others and on the low side. Came out next day and fixed boots. I didn't even need to be home to get the work completed. He tried to rehang siding but it blew off. I knew that was a long shot anyway. He left invoice in mail box. Great overall work and experince. I would recommend again to anyone with small roof repairs.

We had Dale and A New Rooftime replace our roof 3 years ago after the hurricane. The insurance company dictated regular shingles be put on instead of dimensional. The way our house is situated in our neighborhood, we bear the brunt of strong winds. The houses around us create wind tunnels. We have lost a shade room, 2 grills, patio table, 2 umbrellas and a patio swing due to strong winds. After the recent storms, I noticed some shingles in the yard. I called Dale in the morning and he came out later in the afternoon. From the ground he could tell they were ours and said he would have a crew out first thing in the morning. At 5:30 the same day, my doorbell rang and it was Dale. He said he couldn't go to sleep that night knowing that strong storms were coming and our roof not being fixed. He went up and fixed the roof right then and told me to call him immediately if I noticed anything else and he would be right out to fix it. I know he put the roof down right, it is just the winds and the insurance company being cheap on the shingles. It is good to know that he stands by his work and goes out of his way to make sure things are taken care of.

Really liked these people because they were professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Best of all, they were appreciative of my business. We contacted Roof Time for an estimate on attic insulation and gutters. They sent Justin who arrived right on time. He was energetic, passionate and knowledgeable about his work and explained the attic insulation and gutter estimates to me. He also gave me a good assessment of our current situation for insulation and gutters, and some tips on which improvements to make/when. While here I mentioned that we had a roof leak where our cupola stands. He identified the problem as incorrect flashing around the cupola and gave me an estimate for a quick fix (temporary sealant and no warranty, but half the price) and for a permanent fix (more but warrantied), and also some pointers on how to fix our overall roof in the future. We decided to hire this company to fix the roof based on Justin's representation of the company and Angie's List feedback, and we were not disappointed. With the crazy rain in the last two weeks, the company was having a difficult time getting someone out here when it was dry enough to conduct the work, but they communicated with us regularly in order to establish a time to get out here. They seemed genuinely concerned about our situation and eager to help us as quickly as possible. They arrived the instant the rain let up and got right to work. The team finished in an hour, cleaned up and were on their way. I will be watching the repair to see if it leaks after their work, but so far it appears to have been completed correctly -- only rain and time will tell. I will probably hire these guys in the future to do larger jobs, and possibly for the attic and gutter repair, if we don't do it ourselves. great company!

I got them off Angie's List. He went up to the attic and did an inspection to see if there was any damage or leakage through the attic area. It was actually an attic inspection this one was for. He knew what he was going to do and he came on time. He explained what he saw up there and felt everything was fine. He felt that there was nothing they needed to do and there was some kind of device that they were adding over our attic. He entered from the garage from a little hole in the ceiling and they was some kind of a little cap thing they put in the attic. They helped put an air leak at the access point. That was some free thing they added. He actually did something at no cost, something that they promoted with their coming out to do the attic review and he was fine. He did what he had to do, explained it all to me and he was on his way.
Description of Work: I used the service of A New Roof Time a couple of months ago. They came to check the attic for insulation and for any other issues that me might have had since we have a big cedar ceiling and I can't climb up there.

We found them on Angie's List. I looked them up for my parents and they put the roof on. Then we also needed a new roof so they did ours. Dale is who came out to our home, his crew, his secretary and himself couldn't have been nicer or done a better job if they wanted to. We are just so pleased with everything they did for us. They were very willing to work around our schedule, we had a death in the family in the middle of all of this and they were just great. My mother was really pleased with what they did. They did a beautiful job. They were really willing to work with us and they were really good to us. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone. they had to literally take the wood down to the eaves, all the insulation had to come out and they had to replace everything. They had to hook up new ventilation fans to keep the air moving up there. The estimate was exactly what we paid. They were just really great people and the men who came out were just as nice as could be. The covered the driveway so they wouldn't get it dirty and tear it up. They cleaned up their mess when they were done, they blew off the back patio and steps, they did a wonderful job. The shingles are lifetime warranty and transferable to the next owner.

We talked to Dale (the owner) and asked him to provide us an estimate. Justin (Dale's son) came out and walked through the entire house with a thermal camera that showed the hot and cool spots. It was a relatively mild day, but we could still see the cool spots that synced with our expectations. Justin let me walk around with him and answered all of my questions. He went up to the attic and reviewed the insulation level, the temperature spots and ventilation. He talked about the options we had, what his insulation would do, and the timing. He even discussed with us what we should do to get the best deal, which was very much appreciated. They worked with us to schedule a time that worked and were able to complete the job within a month. Justin came out along with another employee (Jared) and the put a lot of insulation in the attic in only about 4 hours. The blower machine was very quiet (I was able to work from home while they were working), and they put tarps down to prevent any mess. Dale (the owner) came out near the end to review the job. He pointed out a couple of potentially loose shingles and told me what to do if they came loose (they also do roofing). In summary, they did a great job, and my wife and I felt comfortable with them, and we will definitely have them come out and bid for any additional roofing work we might need. I gave them a B on price, because they were about the same as the other bids we received, but I think we received a lot for our money and just felt very comfortable with them.

We knew that we had been losing a great deal of energy through our hatch to the attic and through the attic itself. We called A New Roof Time at the recommendation of other satisfied users. Justin Shoemaker arrived on schedule after having called to let us know he was on the way. He performed an "Attic Energy Check-Up" quickly, gave me a written report and discussed it with me thoroughly, including the energy savings that their recommendations would provide. I was very impressed with the procedure and with Justin's breakdown. We intend to have A New Roof Time out again to carry out their recommendations.
Description of Work: Justin Shoemaker was the representative who performed the work at our home. He did an evaluation of the energy loss from our attic (primarily) as well as other rooms in our house. He measured ceiling temperatures at 7 different areas of the house, installed an AttiCat (insulation board) around the hatchway to the attic and made recommendations for further improvements to bring our attic's insulation up to code. He gave us a two-page report of his findings.

Justin inspected my rafters and said they were very good. Justin told me he had never seen a roof in such good condition. I'm confident that he was thorough, and he told me my cracking was due to the clay my home sits on. I would recommend them for an inspection to anyone because they were thorough and honest. He inspected the vent pipes, checked the shingles and even walked on the rafters to make sure they didn't move.

The inspection was performed on November 5, 2010. An installation date was set for December 8, 2010. Two young men arrived early. They were pleasant and very professional. The owner of the company arrived after a while to insure the work was being performed as required. Rooms were secured while the work was being performed so there was no dust. They explained what they were to do. After the work was completed, the place was cleaned up. I was pleased with the work and would not hesitate to recommend the company to someone needing this service.

This is a wonderful company. They blew insulation into our attic since we were well below code. With the winter coming, we thought it would be time to do this and try to save on our heating. The company came out and did a thorough inspection, and upon approval from us, set up a date that same week. Professional, courteous and very competitively priced, we would absolutely use them again!
Description of Work: Blew in insulation into our attic up to R49 and R60 above the bedrooms. Sealed up the attic hatch so it was also insulated.
