A New Rooftime

I tried to set up times and called them, but never heard back from them. I had to write it off and would not use them again.

Due to some miscommunication about the appointment time, the estimator came & took the measurements earlier than I was expecting and I missed him. So I was not able to discuss the repairs and get answers to some questions. However, I was able to talk with someone by phone the next day. She was helpful in answering questions and providing information about the gutter guards they use. They were also very prompt about emailing the estimate to me the very next business day. We ended up going with another company based on price but I would not hesitate to try New Rooftime again in the future.

I thought the folks at A New Rooftime were great! We had had a couple of rains and I noticed kind of a weird stain in two places in my upstairs ceiling. I was nervous, but didn't know what it was. I called and they came out to give me an estimate very quickly (the next day, I think it was). I LOVED Dale, who came out to do the estimate, he was friendly and gave me an education in roofs while he was looking around. He talks and moves fast and was up in the attic, out the window, walking around on the roof and the whole time telling me what he was seeing and explaining things. One thing that was great was that he gave me a couple of options. Really I needed a new roof (mine's about 20 or so year's old) and we talked through that, but he also gave me a great solution to repair individual shingles and he thought that would do the trick and buy me a few more years before I need to do the whole shebang. I also knew that for some time I'd needed some insulation in my attic, so he checked that out. It was nice that he offered me the discount that I had seen on Angie's list, even before I asked for it. Made me feel like he was trying to give me the best deal. The guys came out a day later and did the whole job. It went very smoothly and was much quicker than I thought. We had a torrential downpour right after, so I was thrilled that they had repaired it so quickly. And now that we are having such a cold winter, I'm definitely feeling like my house is warmer. It's cozy (I mean, I'm practically hot) when the thermostat is set at 68 versus before where it didn't feel warm unless it was set over 70. The bill was very close to the estimate and that whole process was easy. And, lastly, I remembered that Dale had told me I could deduct my insulation from my taxes and I had a question about that and Missy answered my email the same day with all of the details. Definitely hire them. It was a great experience with very friendly people!

I never contacted the provider because I didn't receive the confirmation email. Too much time elapsed and a storm came through, so I made other arrangements to fix my roof quickly. Angie's List was quite helpful in straightening out my email and password problem. No complaints with anyone!

I felt like they did a great job. They were very courteous. They wore their boots in the house to keep my house clean. They were very knowledgeable. They were flexible when I changed the plan up a little bit, it didn't throw them off. They adjusted around it. I believe it was Dale that I talked to the most. I don't think we were overcharged for what they did. They're going to come back and do some gutter cleaning a few things for us.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out very well. It was good. They were on time and they did it within a couple of days. I guess the price was alright. I'll probably call them back. They looked at my roof and they said it will probably be another 2 years. I'll probably call them back to do my roof worked.

It went great. Called and Dale came out the same day, found the leak, and gave us a very reasonable estimate. Since it was about to rain he stayed and did the work right then. Even spray painted the pipes so everything looks new and clean. I am very impressed with this company and their effort to respond quickly. Thanks to Roof Time, its not raining inside the house.

I purchased the Angielist Big Deal which included a roof and chimney inspection. The company foreman informed me that my chimney and boot needed repairs which totalled over $700. I trusted his advice as to what he felt was needed to be done. Since I am unable to climb up to the roof and have not yet had a need for someone to follow up any of the work, i can only assume that recommended repairs were required and appropriately completed. Crew members were professional and appeared to be knowledgeable and qualifed to complete the work.

Estimate: Dale is the coolest roofer you will ever meet. He definitely knows his stuff, getting into the weeds with me about Brayton Cycling and other thermo details. He provided an estimate right away. He looked at the roof in person, went into the attic, and did an energy audit all at the same time. He even explained how our home was originally constructed and why certain ventilation systems may not work as efficiently. He also showed us the "energy" friendly options since we wanted that, including a solar powered attic fan, and the shasta white shingles. Finally, he was realistic about where insulation would help and where it wouldn't. The install: Arrived early, finished early. Haven't found a single roofing nail. Used 30# felt. Can barely tell where they needed to remove siding to install shingles. New roof and the vents look awesome. Threw in a free thermal barrier. Highly recommended!! Still in contact with Dale and has come out several times just to check in on how the roof is doing. A real class act.

.Because of the weather in December, it took approximately 1 month for them to be able to complete the work. They actually showed up on a Saturday morning at 8:00 AM on New Years Eve asking if we minded if they did the installation that day because they felt badly that they had not been able to complete the work earlier. We were very happy with their work - they cleaned up very well, actually used a magnetic nail finder to find any stray nails in the mulch or grass. They were very careful with the plants in our flower garden. We've noticed that the humidity in our house is better since we have better circulation because of the ridge vent. We would definitely recommend them to others

We identified some hail damage from earlier in the year. Rooftime worked well with our insurance company to identify the issues. Their price was excellent. When we completed our process with the insurance company, the scheduling went quickly with Rooftime. On the job, the men were professional and did a great job cleaning up around our house each day before they left. We were particularly worried about our puppy getting into things, but they took good care of us. I would definitely use Rooftime again.

The guys came out promptly and checked the roof. I told them where it was leaking and showed them the water marks on the ceiling. He had his men come back a day or so later. (They showed up right when he said they would.). It took them just a few minutes to replace a vent. Hopefully, it won't leak anywhere else. I plan on using them again.

Work was done very well. All was explained to us before installation. Work was done efficiently and clean up was thorough. Very pleasant to work with. Our house was warmer through the winter and cooler in the summer.

The service provided went very well. They provided excellent service, they were on time, helpful, informative, showed everything to me and explained it. I was very happy otherwise I would not hire them to blow any insulation.

Another roofer commented that nothing was wrong with the flashing. Now I have to get a third/fourth opinion.

It was fine though I did not end up getting additional attic insulation from them.

My newly purchased rental home has missing gutters, soffits and fascia boards. I chose this company due to many positive Angie List reviews. I called and made an appointment for an estimate. I was told someone would come in two days in a specific time slot. I asked the office to give my cell phone number to the estimator and I would meet him. No call and nobody showed up. Called up the following week. There was no record about my appointment. I had to make another appointment. Again no one showed up and no call. I left 3-4 voice messages since then. No return calls from the office either. If they are busy, they should tell the truth and don't let customers waiting. It is very annoyed that they did not keep their appointments.

I didn’t really think it was of much value. He knew nothing more about my house when he left than when he arrived. He was here and gone very quickly so for me it was very ineffective. It seemed to be very cool in here and I wanted to know if he could give any help or give any suggestions. He didn’t give me any other good information. I didn’t really enjoy and when he walked out I said that’s $99 wasted. It was a big deal purchase. If he had done what he said he would do and leave me with a list of suggestions, I think the price would have been very good and that is why I asked for it. I got no suggestions. I could call the electric company and get more help. I think they will come out and take a look if I ask them. He came when I called him. He came on time. I was turned off by him.

They scan went very well and showed that we did not need additional services. Very professional. They could have indicated that we needed more attic insulation but they left without me having to buy anything else.

called during a thunder storm when we noticed water coming out thru the light fixture in the kitchen. a total panic when water is involved with electricity. i went to angies list right away and began calling all roofing companies that handled emergencies. Dale from a new rooftime answered the phone, calmed me down, gave me some great info and then said someone would be out that evening or Sunday. on Sunday Greg and Gregory arrived and found the problem to be an old nail was coming out of the shingle and the water was getting in thru this small hole. they fixed it asap, checked the roof for me and answered some questons on whether i needed a new roof or not and i do not at this time. also they noticed something with the chimney and will be out next week to seal it up. i am so gratefull for not being ripped off and got some extra info as well. awesome job, thank you soooo much

They informed me some of the problems what they thought were critical and what I would not necessarily have to worry about. They also gave me an estimate about a new roof.

The scan showed that my home was losing energy through the windows. walls and doors. The ceiling insulation was right on. The contractor reviewed the results with us and made general non-product specific fixes for the areas with the highest energy losses. The last part of the audit was the attic opening which showed high energy loss, he fixed this with a insulating hood. The contractor was professional and on task,. They did what they came to do, with no up scale pressure. That I liked.
