We spoke to a rep at the Aurora Indiana Farmers Fair, and scheduled an appointment.The salesman demoed all of the top gutter sheading systems, and showed us the physical differences in size, gauge and durability.I took my time choosing the colors to be used over the next week.  I chose a taupe shade to match the existing flashing and  white for one of the 5 downspouts  on a white porch post, with a diverter for my rain barrel, in the warm months, switching to gutter with just a lever for cold months.The installers were really nice guys, and they did a great job, as I was out there the whole time.  They even ran a longer piece through my garden to keep it away from the house in the cold months, all other downspouts go into drains that run out further on the property.We love these for their rain collection, and the easy to remove, and clean leaf collector bins in the down spouts.We Were Told there would be Ice Sickles.The only thing we don't like about the gutters are the Ice Sickles in the winter.  They get to be 2 to 4 feet long, off that top drip edge.  We wack them with a long push broom, so there is no harm to anyone from 2 stories up.  Although one did put a nasty dent in my new coach lamp out back.I would love to have these in Florida.Never any clogs, after 3 years.

I really wasn't interested in getting gutter guards from a company I had never heard of. I was pressured into providing more information, and then he left an "appointment card" for a sales call at 6PM the next day. When filling out the appointment card, he asked "is this still Madeira?" which is no where close to my house, so that led me to believe he wasn't really doing the gutters for one of my neighbors. The appointment card had no contact information for the company on it, which seemed suspicious. I checked with the BBB and learned they are not members. I looked up the number on the internet and called explaining that I was pressured into a sales visit that I wasn't interested in, and that the guy that came to the door said they were members of the BBB when they are not. The lady on the phone was very nice, and said they are "going through the process" to become BBB members, but they had not yet been in business for 1 year which is a requirement. The lady canceled my appointment and told me that she would make sure the sales reps knew they were not yet BBB members. High pressure sales tactics and dishonesty is no way for a brand new company to build a reputation!
