While the majority of the rehab went well and I am in general happy with the quality of work, the professionalism of this company was horrendous. with 80% of the project complete the contractor walked away from the project. Throughout the project, while we encountered unknowns costs that I agreed to pay when it can to finishing details that were accounted for in the original estimate he refused to finish them stating that it was going to cost more. He ended up walking away from the job because I refused to pay what was agreed to in the contract. I started a lawsuit against him and he the agreed to finish the work, came for a day and then never showed up again. On multiple occasions he would cuss and yell at me both on the phone and in person. Also on multiple occasions him and his workers would be drinking on site.
He also never got the final CO inspections of the house causing me to get a fine from the building inspection department.

"My reaction to the statement is , the project turned.out amazing even getting the state award , and saving[member name removed] over $40,000 in tax credits due to following stricked historic guidlines . There are always uncertain hidden cost with renovation work and unfortunately this paticular renovation had many existing issues . We do excelleny work anf there is a fee that goes with it.
