Huff's Tree Service

Come within days to give an estimate. Service man was very knowledgeable. Authorised work and was told that I would be put on the schedule for 4 weeks out. They came and went without any problems. They sent me a bill for their services which was the same as the estimate. They removed a tree and trimmed 7, removed all debris and yard looked great. Would defiantly use again.

The estimator Mike was on time and professional. They quoted me $650 to do the removal and gave me a discount brining the cost to $600. The only problem was they are very busy and did not have any availability to do the job for at least 3 weeks. I may have used them if I could have gotten the job done sooner. I will consider using them in the future though.

A crew of six men and equipment arrived mid morning and were all very professional. The Cottonwood trees were growing between two houses and hanging over my roof. They were all very organized. As limbs were cut and dropped, they were picked up and hauled off to the shredder. People on the ground raked up leaves and loose twigs as they went. Not a single limb ever touched the house. They had everything cleaned up, the stump holes back filled with dirt and job completed in about 6 hours. Very please with their work.

This company is most disappointing. I scheduled an appointment for a specific time on July 22, 2015. Half an hour before they were supposed to show up I got a call saying they were running a half-hour late. So, because I'm on a tight schedule, I rescheduled for the following day.


The next day, they didn't even bother to call. After waiting nearly 20 minutes for them to show up, I called and cancelled the appointment.


This is no way to run a business. Apparently they have more business than they can handle so they don't mine... and they probably don't need yours, either.


The company contacted me and apologized for the lack of follow-up on my request for a quote.  Since then, they quoted me a very fair price, and I have decided to use Huff's to have a tree removed.


Once they complete the job I'll add more information to this review.  So far, I'm satisfied they are making a genuine effort to make things right.

Oct. 5, 2015: They completed the work today and did an excellent job. Mike and his crew member got the job done quickly. They worked hard cleaning up and were very pleasant to work with.

Theh original problems we had were due to miscommunication. Since then, they went out of their way to make things right.

I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

The were prompt and responsive for the estimate as well as the cutting and grinding of the stump. They used a compact scissor lift to reach the branches which really made the work a lot faster and it did not damage the yard even though it was still soft from rain the night before.
The were fast, professional and polite, meeting all my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

It went just great. We just had a fabulous time trying to clean up afterwards and everything.
