Every Friday when I'd get home the law was mowed and looked great.

They accepted extremely poor quality concrete for the job.  This made it hard to set stones in.  This caused lots of stones to be broken.  They dug up a bunch of concrete to attempt to fix the leveling issue.  Leaving me with concrete to dispose of.  It was never level, and they said they would mortar in between to fix it, but they never came back and stopped returning my calls.

Work was scheduled for Feb of 2014 and was never completed. Had a very difficult time scheduling the work and ultimately I decided not to have the work performed by Prairiescapes. Unfortunately, I had an even more difficult time getting my refund. It took over a year to receive my money back and only after a complaint to the BBB. When I spoke with the contractor after a refund check was cut 16 months later, there wasn't even an apology for the hassle. Awful service.

Prairiescapes provided a detailed bid that showed they actually listened to what I wanted (not everybody did). They took what I wanted and made it better by applying their years of experience and knowledge. They were nice, pleasant, punctual and responsible. I enjoyed having them around, and not just because they were transforming my back yard. I especially liked working with them because they had an eye towards a natural landscape instead of something overly formal. Given that I get almost no sun and have little time to fiddle with the yard, they had to be creative.
