It was summer and hot, so I really appreciated the quick response from Neal Harris.  I called to report an issue with my air conditioning and a technician was onsite the same day.  The problem was diagnosed within 30 minutes and was an issue with a valve.  The valve needed to be ordered, so the repairs were delayed a few days while the part came in, but a follow up visit was prompt.  After replacing the valve and getting the system turned on again, the technician discovered the coil was damaged as well and needed to be replaced.  The part was in stock and replaced the following day.  Overall, this was a good experience.

We had Neal Harris install a new Heat Pump/Furnace/Air Conditioner about 4 years ago. This year, we have had 2 THV valves go bad and this turns out to be a VERY expensive repair. When the technician came out to install the new valve the second time, after spending 5+ hours working on this, the new valve was also faulty and he suggested we have the unit converted to a standard A/C.
Wayne, the manager worked with us and made sure we were satisfied that they stand behind their work and their product. We were very pleased with their dedication to finding a good solution for us and keeping us satisfied and loyal customers.

I waited for the service technician on three separate days. He showed up on the last appointment and only after I called to complain. Once the technician came to our house the service was very professional.

When Neal Harris switched to Service Experts in name (and possibly ownership, I don't know) they now use an out of town call center. The scheduling time for tune ups is always way in the future. When you ask to speak to someone local for scheduling you get put on hold. Then by 'magic' the call center says there is a 'cancellation' and they can schedule you sooner. I really don't like dealing with a call center when a company is local. I want to deal with the local people for a local company. You can tell it's a call center because they can't pronounce Olathe. Always a dead give away. In all fairness, there is no problem scheduling when something goes wrong with your furnace or AC. They can always fit you in. It's the annual service contract scheduling I have a problem with.

AC had leaked coolant, and was over 25 years old.  Repair guy did a few things and got it running again, but did not fill up the coolant without asking.  It was old-fashioned freon, and he said it might need up to ten pounds, several hundred dollars worth.  He said if you fill it without finding the leak, naturally it will leak out again.  He suggested that it was too old, and wasn't worth fixing.
He was pretty aggressive about wanting us to sign a maintenance agreement, which we did.  Then he decided we shouldn't fix it, and he gave us an estimate for new AC and furnace.  We called another company and they gave us an estimate a little bit cheaper.  Then a friend recommended a guy who came and installed AC and furnace for half the original estimate.  They've been running for several months now and we haven't had a problem.
Since we had a brand new system we called and asked to cancel the maintenance agreement.  They did, and refunded us the money.

I'm a very satisfied customer. I found and booked this contractor through Costco, who has a Lennox referral program. I highly recommend all Costco members use this service or at least get a quote via Costco.com or the kiosk at your local Costco warehouse. Pricing is A+ for Costco members, due to the $100 per $1000 purchase rebate that Coscto provides. I took bids from 5 companies, and Service Experts provided the best overall package/solution to my AC issues.  I didn't choose the lowest bidder, but did select based on the best value per the equipment/warranty package. Great service and  great 10 year parts, 10 year service and 3 year 100% satisfaction warranty program on premium Lennox equipment.  
The sales consultant Forrest listened to my concerns and helped me to evaluate my alternatives and addressed concerns about replacing vs reuse of existing equipment.  The job was completed on the date that I scheduled it. Service techs were on time, neat with their work, polite and courteous. All of my questions and concerns about the install were answered.  The final install looks neat and professional. The install crew walked me through the operation of the system before departing. The comfort adviser stopped by to check on  the install and and to ensure that I was satisfied after the install crew had left.

Have complained about this company before, so thought it only fair to comment on service that was above and beyond normal.
It was the superior communication skills of the technician along with the courteous manner that gave me such confidience in the service I was receiving, so felt free to purchase the parts that were suggested, which were both water and dust filters and a uv light to help prevent mold growth in the humidity system. 
The tech was on time,  having called beforehand to let me know he was on the way.Covered his shoes with booties as entered house, and took plenty of time to perform services.
I was pleased to know that he teaches his technical skills at a junior college,  Hope he teaches his communication ability, too

The serviceman came out on emergency call quickly!
His name was Jarron and he rocked.Give him a raise!.. No make that 2... :-)He was great to explain what the issue was and got right down to the work, even cleaning the outside ac fins with water and checking the charge of freon..
In an hour he troubleshot the situation and had the AC back in time to cool the house down before bedtime!

They came out this time only for a bid. Were able to make an appointment right away, thoroughly explained their bid, etc. I chose another company because they have even better ratings on Angie's list and their price was lower.

They come twice a year to do a regular checkup. I think they are expensive but I haven't managed to find anyone else either. They do a good work. I would continue use them in the future.

I felt that they gave me a beyond ridiculous estimate. They would not tell me the price of the part or the labor. They wanted $500 for thirty minutes of work for a $150 part.

I checked them on Angie's List and they had an A rating.  It went really well.  It took them one day to put every thing in, but they had to come another morning to finish up a few things.  My overall experience is an A.  I thought their was fair.  I called another place to check their price and they were higher.  I don't think I paid more that I should have.  The quality of work is definitely an A, and I will use them again in the future.
