Eclipse Roofing was one of 3 roofing contractors that we contacted for quotes after a hail storm. They were very professional to deal with. Our main contact was Dave Hudson who was the project manager for the contract. Dave was able to get us answers for all our questions and presented us with pricing options by providing several roofing choices. He explained the differences of each so I felt we had a good understanding of the product choices. They also recommended that we consider replacing two skylights. In addition to the warranty provided by the manufacturer, Eclipse Roofing also provided a 5 year workmanship warranty. After the installation, Dave contacted us a couple of times to insure that we were entirely happy with their work and we are. In our conversation with Dave it became clear that he is a true professional and he is committed to maintaining the great reputation that Eclipse Roofing has worked hard to develop.

I spoke to Steve Buren on the phone many times throughout the process and he could not have been NICER and easier to work with! What a great company. We would recommend them to anyone who wants professional, "as promised" work done. Steve let me know when the materials would be delivered, even knocked on the door and informed our tenants of the process and what to expect. The workers arrived, first thing in the morning the very next day. Steve even called me mid morning to give me an update on how the job was going. Truly a painless experience! Super clean up, too. Thanks, guys!

Everything went as planned. They showed up when they said the would, which is amazing these days. Great job!

Service was done swiftly. Crews worked from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. the first day; from 10 a.m. (due to weather concerns) to completion at 6 a.m. Cleanup was very good. The supervisor was in constant contact and often on site. Very little debris in attic. Only a good storm will tell for sure, but it looks clean and great.

I found Eclipse Roofing through Angiest List. They were timely on their initial inspection, but I ended up needing a follow-up inspection. It took a while to get the follow-up inspection, but Jeff communicated with me and let me know where I was in the queue. All the roofing companies were absolutely swamped at the time so I am just grateful they kept in touch. Dave Hudson performed the repairs and he was very professional and worked quickly and cleaned up his mess at the end of the day. The repairs took 2 days.

Found Jeff and Eclipse through Angies List. Everything from the first call to the bid package he brought me put me at ease and ultimately led me to choose them. I was mazed at some of the other companies lack of professionalism. Some didn't even want to come to the house, just wanted me to email them the bids and they promised to beat the lowest one. Not the warm and fuzzy I was looking for. In the end, Eclipse came in very close to the lowest bid. His workers were friendly and professional. I have a very large roof and the work was completed start to finish in 3 days. (in blistering heat no less) Final result...the roof looks great. As a small business owner myself, I look at all aspects and not just price. I appreciate the way the whole process was handled from the first contact to completion. I highly remommend Eclipse Roofing.

Job went very smoothly. Jeff was very professional, responsive and always took the time to describe in detail the status and the process of the job. His pricing was very fair and he beat all local competitors. I know that he stands behind his work and that peace of mind means alot to my wife and I. While I doubt I will need Jeff's services anytime soon, I know that if something does come up, he will be there.

I received an estimate and Dave Hudson, the sales representative, worked with me on adjusting it and getting it in proper form to submit to the insurance company. Dave brought information to my home about the specific products that were to be used on the roof. I had three companies give estimates and Eclipse was the only company which provided that information. Dave stayed in touch with me, checking on my decision and alerting me to price increases. Again, Eclipse was the only company with that type of follow through. Dave kept me informed of the plans for installation date, delivery of materials, etc. The day of installation, he checked on the crews and reponded promptly to my phone calls and requests. He came the day after the installation was complete and checked the installation. He did some caulking and repaired some nail pops in the ceiling. The customer service was outstanding and the roof looks wonderful. I had my roof replaced 5 years ago and the service, clean-up and job was not nearly as well done as it was this time with Eclipse. I would highly recommend them. Dave Hudson is an outstanding representative for this company. His service prior to the decision on which company to select strongly influenced my decision.

I usually use another company for roofing work but I was swayed by Eclipse's Angie's List awards. Big mistake. I've been 'working' with Eclipse since April 13. I sent them my insurance settlement paperwork (which detailed all the work that needed done) a month ago and have not yet received an estimate. I understand they're busy but I think it's terrible customer service to promise to provide something (twice!) and not deliver. The most recent contact was on June 3rd when a promise was made to email the estimate on June 6th. It's now June 20th and still no sign of it. I was a little dubious when Eclipse inspected my roof and told me "there's no significant damage" when every other house in the street was getting a new roof and my deck, drainpipes and siding were all hail-damaged. Imagine my surprise when another roofing company and the insurance loss adjuster both said my roof needed to be completely replaced. I can't explain why Eclipse didn't think my roof needed any repairs at all. I wasn't at home when they came to inspect it; maybe they looked at the wrong house. I've heard of companies reporting the roof is fine if they don't want the work.

Jeff worked closely with our adjuster. His crew was on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Jeff responded to any questions promptly. They were on time every day.

Just as they promised.. There were no 'hidden costs', no drama, no 'oh by the way moments', and within a day and a half our entire roof was done and we were absolutely satisfied (more than satisfied) with the quality of work done. Eclipse Roofing is built on integrity, honesty, loyalty, and truly cares about the end customer. This was a 'far cry' from what many of my neighbors have been (and still are) experiencing, as they choose 'other' local / non-local roofing companies; many of them are beginning to see / deal with defects, lack of quality issues, and overall poor craftsmanship on their 'new' roofs.

They were very thorough. They were very attentive to detail. They did a really good job of cleaning up afterwards. They stuck with their estimate. They showed up when they said they were going to. I would use their services again in the future.

On their website, I submitted a request for a roofing estimate. I then decided to call them the next day and make a request. It took a total of four phone calls over the course of about a month to get someone out to do an estimate on my roofing job. By the time I got their estimate, which was very professional, I had decided to go with another roofer who was much more responsive. I was really wanting to go with Eclipse because of what I read on Angie's list, and I realize it is a very busy time for the roofers in KC with the recent hail and rain storms. I live in a duplex in a cul-de-sac and was able to get other jobs in the neighborhood for the roofer I chose. I will say that Jeff Pendergraft was very apologetic and a good communicator about what they were experiencing. And, I appreciate that. I just think they should get a back-up plan for times like this so they don't lose out on any business or new customers.

Our roof was damaged in a hail storm and needed to be replaced. We got three different estimates from Eclipse, Pyramid, and Century roofing. When Eclipse came out to do the estimate, they made some temporary fixes to prevent any leaking before the roof was replaced. This was before we had all of the estimates. Eclipse gave us a detailed estimate for what work was going to be done. The other two did not want to give us estimates, telling us they would work with the insurance company. In the end, Eclipse estimates came in under what our insurance company estimated. Eclipse insures their workers and their contract was straight forward. They completed the work in one day and cleaned up everything just like they described.

I’d read really good reviews about them on Angie’s list. They did give me a really professional estimate. Everything about it looked good. I really wanted to use them from what everybody else said but they just took too long. I kept telling them to hurry because we were getting our house repainted. We had to have an adjuster come out before our house was going to get repainted, which is next week. They just got the estimate to me today. We’d already picked out our roofer because our adjuster is supposed to be coming out today. It’s just unfortunate that we cannot use them this time. I would use their services again in the future.

Our wood roof was totaled by hail so I looked for a good roofing contractor and found Jeff Eclipse. He was VERY professional and down to earth. He also responded very quickly to my phone calls. My wife and I were very pleased that he used quality GAF products and had many options to choose from but didn't try to sell them unless there was an advantage. In the end we only chose upgrade roof shingles because Jeff didn't feel that any of the other options were worth the cost. This is what I call an honest business man. There were a couple of minor issues that came up during the job. I mean really minor. I bring them up because when I mentioned them Jeff he immediately corrected them. The end result was a great quality roof. I have already given his name out to 5 others we know needing roof repairs. I cannot express to anyone how pleased my wife and I are with the workmanship and the honesty from Eclipse. Please speak to Jeff and judge for yourself.

Everything went very well and the work was done timely and professionally.

I told them being it was my roof I wanted it done right. They said thats the only way they would do it.... which meant pulling the old shingles with holes in it and reshingle the small section. $250 was a little more than I wanted to spend but in the end I wanted the job done right... and this was the cheapest estimate I found after checking 1 other place. I wanted it done right --not patched or half assed - I had enough of that with the Dish network nitwit. When it comes to roof repair - don't try to save $50-$100... bite the bullet and get it done right or else you will eventually end up paying out 1000's due to damage. This company was so professional, so responsive and communicated so well it was worth it. I was on the road when the guy sized up the job - and I found them so upfront, honest and responsive I had total confidence in thier skill. I told him to just "do it" on on the spot. When I returned from out of town later that day --- I had to look very carefully to see where he repaired it... the replacment shingles almost matched exactly! This guy made it like "the holes were never even there". The shingles were installed perfectly (not uneven or anything). Excellent job by Dave, the guy that did the job. This company is a winner - and I will call them for anything I have done on my roof and no one else.

We were very impressed with Eclipse Roofing. Jeff was very personable and professional. His company did a great job in doing the roof, and cleaning up afterwards.

I liked the way they showed me before and after pics of everything they repaired on the roof. Service was prompt, efficient, friendly, and at a reasonable cost. Repair person was a new employee named Dave Hudson. He was excellent!

I got bids from 3 companies that were all very comparable. Jeff was the only one that noticed we had recently replaced our driveway. He let us know that the typical way of unloading and clearing debris would probably be too much stress for our new driveway. We chose him based not only on his very detailed bid, but on the fact that he was pro-active in making sure our driveway was not damaged. The crew was fabulous! They arrived bright and early the first day and were very hard working. They moved quickly and completed the roof in 2 1/2 days. They were very courteous and friendly and helpful in leaving things in a pretty clean state at the end of each day. At the end of the job, they did a very nice job of cleaning things up and returning them to their proper place. I appreciated the extra effort they put in to make sure our driveway was not damaged. Jeff came by to check everything out and make sure I was happy with the service. I read so many horror stories from people who had roofs put on, so I was really dreading the project. It turned out to be no problem. I would highly recommend Jeff and Eclipse Roofing.

Jeff and his crew were amazing. It was almost getting too cold to do the replacement that was necessary and the only days that it was warm enough was over the weekend. The guys worked morning until dark Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I was worried that there would be nails left everywhere since there were so many leaves on the ground, but the crew did a great job of getting every last nail. I had planned to have a family gathering the Saturday that they were there, but all it took was a quick conversation with the crew and they had everything out of the driveway that night and cleaned up fairly well, even though they had to get everything out again the next day. Everyone was very respectful and just great to work with.

I called an spoke with Jeff about having one piece of loose flashing reattached. He told me that his company's focus is on larger projects, but was very helpful and referred me to a company that would be able to address the issue I was having. He was very professional and looked up the number for the referral company for me - much appreciated.

They were very punctual and efficient. The clean up after the job was extraordinary; no nail was left behind.

Jeff was on the ball with getting estimates, answering questions, they were on time and the crew worked three 13 hour days in 100+ degree weather. We suggested leaving early, but they were use to the heat and kept working. Very neat and professional. We only had one problem, Jeff gave us a bid when the house was empty. When the work was done, we had moved in and the workers removed the skylights and continued working. Roofing debris was raining down on our off white microfiber sectional...you get the picture. We had to call Jeff and one of the workers brought in tarp. That was a big oversight on their part, but they made up for it in all of the other work done. When I called about adding metal deflectors for the corners of the gutters, as rain was going over the gutters, he called someone and the guy was there a few hours later installing the deflectors..at no charge. It was a lot of work, Jeff was on it and very apologetic about the skylight incident.
