As auction houses go Gold River Auction is your everyday run of the mill. It's not high end, fancy schmancy or snooty. They're everyday down to earth folks trying to offer a service to anyone who comes to them. At the end of the day an auction is an auction. just because you think something has value or there is a book price on it. That does not mean that on any given day it's worth much less or much more. I've bought lots of things from many different auctions. Happy with some things disappointed with others. At the end of the day I was entertained, I had an opportunity to out whit or be out paid for something I thought I wanted. Then there is the other side of an auction. They take stuff in every week to sell. And I've had them sell things for me as well. Sometimes I've been exceedingly happy. Sometimes I not happy at all. It's an auction and it's not their fault if the bad day falls on your day. Someone go a bargain at your expense. All that to say Bobby and John do a great job of managing the trash that comes in and the treasure as well. if your come to be entertained and accept the banter and strange conversation called auctioneering you will enjoy the evening. I'm always pleased to get away from the rat race to go to an auction. Gold River Auction is there about every week of the year.
