They're very honest and professional, and they do high quality work. The waiting area is very nice especially for an auto shop.

I called and asked if I could bring my car in for a second opinion. The Acura dealership told me I needed a new oil pump which would be a significant expense. I took it to Casey's for a second opinion. Carl, from Casey's, told me to drop it off and that it would take a couple of hours to look at it. I dropped it off the night before so I could pick it up late morning on the next day. I called late morning and Carl said he hadn't started working on it. I asked him when it would be done and he said some time later in the day. I pressed him for a time and got nothing other than some time later in the day. I had a meeting in the afternoon so I told him I needed to come by and pick up my car. He said OK, no sorry, no apology, no nothing. I walked into the garage to pick up my car and no one acknowledged me. I stuck my head in and asked for help and Carl came in. I got my keys and left. The whole experience was reminiscent of the customer service you receive from the airlines ... lame.
Response from Casey's Auto Repair
"[member name removed] I am sorry for your inconvenience but as I explained to you that day when you called that we were out of power for over four hours which put everything behind. I have no control over the power company when its out all I can do is wait for it to come back on I realize this was an inconvenience for you as it was for all of us here in Mission and all of the customers here. I would have gotten to your car that day but you stated you were in a hurry and had to have it by noon so it was your suggestion to come and get the car. When you came in I was washing my hands and came into the office as soon as I finished I do not have someone in the office all day I am a small business and no one ever has to wait but a couple of minutes before someone gets in there to take care of them. I apologize that the day you happened to come was the day I was running four hours behind on all the vehicles I had but again I had no control over that we have had a lot of construction going on in Mission and we all just have to be patient until everything is complete. I know several other businesses were out of power at the same time and it was a problem for many of us but it is a problem that was out of all of our hands we had no control over it and we just hope customers will be understanding and patient during times like this. Again I am sorry that you felt you had a bad experience here I hope you were able to get your vehicle taken care of. Sincerely Carl"

They did a great job. They went over what was wrong with the car and the work that's needed to be done. They let you know exactly what the work would entail and also what needs to be done right away and what can wait.

I knew that for my '05 Ford Focus that the alternator replacement is a pain. Called some that wanted $360 just for labor. I had a great transaction with Carl. He was honest and to the point with no unnecessary added charges. Will definitely use Casey's again. Recommended to family members and friends who are looking for a good mechanic.

It was a very positive experience. They were very professional. I felt like I could trust them to work on my vehicle without overcharging me. I would recommend their services.

If you go there a lot, sometimes they won't even charge you at all to look at a problem. My ex-husband is actually a mechanic and I showed him the bills I've gotten from there and he said that it's a fair price. It's a small shop and they are local and involved in the community. If you go in, you don't have to put up your guard because they're going to try to sell you a bunch of crap. They are very straightforward and we'll tell you what you need and if you don't want to do it right now, that's fine. They are just very easy to work with.

I have been taking my car here for a few years and actively searched them out on Angie's list to give them a review because of the incredible service I receive there time after time. Wonderful customer service, pleasant waiting room, honest work done quickly. I would highly recommend them for any auto work!

I take 5 cars to Carl for maintenance. I've been taking cars to him for several years now. I know I can trust Carl. He lets me know what is required and what might be required in the future. He never tries to upsell me like the dealerships. He will tell me if something can wait, or if it is something that really needs to be addressed immediately. On tires, I used to go to Costco. Costco has great pricing, but it is such a hassle because you can't actually schedule an appointment for new tires, you just have to take it in and it is first come first serve, which was usually a 3 hour wait. And while Costco includes road hazard, if your tire has to be replaced they often don't have it in stock, and delivery time can often be about a week. Carl gives me similar pricing, with road hazard and he can usually replace the tire on the same day. Plus, they are regular Michelin tires instead of the ones produced just for Costco by Michelin. He has very fair pricing and they are a very professional and responsive shop. I give him the highest recommendation.

Casey's Auto Repair is different from most auto repair shops that I have used. The entire building looks clean and organized. The lobby is spotless, and all of his mechanics wear uniforms. Everything about the shop looks professional.
Carl Casey is a very honest person. He will not perform work that he does not believe that you need. I have had other small repairs done at his shop, and have brought in vehicles to be looked at. Every experience has been very good, and his employees have been professional at all times.
I was having trouble with an intermittent starting problem on my Honda Element. Initially, we believed it was a battery issue, but my battery was under warranty. Rather than make me purchase a battery from him, Carl let me borrow one of his batteries so that I could drive my car to the place where I bought the first battery. The battery place initially believed that I bought the borrowed battery from Carl, and were shocked when I told them that Carl just let me borrow it. Thats how much Carl wants to help you.
After some continued troubleshooting, it turned out to be a starter problem. Carl gave me two prices for a starter replacement: one with a rebuilt non-OEM starter, and one with a new Honda OEM starter. Carl told me that he has heard of issues with the rebuilt Honda Element starters, and recommended the Honda starter. I had the Honda starter installed, and my vehicle has had zero issues starting. I later read that rebuilt non-OEM starters DO have problems in the Honda Element, so I'm happy that Carl recommended the original part.
$700 for an installed starter seemed like a lot to me at the time, but it was cheaper than the Honda Dealer, and it turns out that Honda buries the starter under a lot of things, so it was pretty labor intensive. After doing some research, it was a very fair price.
Its rare to find a mechanic that you trust, so I will be sticking with Carl for as long as I live in the area.

The first thing I want to note is how extremely clean, neat, organized and well-kept this repair shop is. All the technicians wear uniforms, there is no smoking either in the office or in the shop area so your car will not come back smelling of cigarette smoke. The owner, Carl Casey, is very nice, polite and as honest as the day is long. I made my appointment a week prior and they were ready for my car when I arrived. I drive a 1999 Honda CRV and I explained the issues and asked them to call me if it looked like the cost was going to be over a specific amount (I was expecting I would need a whole new compressor and to spend big $$$)
Instead, his technicians took the extra time to figure out that at some point when I had service repairs done by another repair shop, they failed to reconnect two wires that ran the cooling fan to the computer in the motor that controls these types of things. They found the wires tucked up under the radiator so when I was in stop/go traffic the engine would heat up but because the wires weren't connected the cooling fan wouldn't engage or turn on. Simple fix. He could have tried to make more money and replace the whole compressor ( would have never known), but instead he and quot;apologizedand quot; for the extra labor charge because of the time it took to figure out the mystery. In total I paid $110. 82, which also included having my tires rotated and filled, an oil change and the labor charges for everything.
I would highly recommend this service provider. He works on all types of cars and does a fabulous job. This would be a place where I would confidently refer others for service. Excellent job!!!!
