Initially, we were excited about the opportunity to replace our aging windows as well as create curb appeal by replacing our deteriorating brick façade with an espresso colored siding. After we signed the contract, things went down hill.

We waited the customary 7 weeks while the order was placed and made. We had no follow up on when the windows and siding would be installed, so we began calling. We made multiple calls to our sales representative Danny Blevins and he NEVER returned our calls. NOT ONCE. We stopped calling him and began calling the main office for Champion in Lenexa, KS. When we did get through to speak with someone, Bobby the scheduling manager, acknowledged the order was in and it was time to schedule installation. He said the install would include the entire order (removing and installing new windows, removing the old brick façade and installing all the siding). So, the installation was scheduled.

On the day of installation, the installers arrived early, which was actually fine as the weather was going to be spotty. The installers, who were actually only going to do the windows as the rest of the job was going to be performed by other installers, did not exude any confidence and the information they had on paper was incorrectly laid out. We had to walk the installers through the job. The two installed all the windows, except for one. There was no clear answer on why one window was not replaced. Since they were coming back the next day to finish the install, I sort of let it go. 

In the meantime, no additional installers showed up to work on the brick or siding. No one from Champion called either. I called to find out that the manufacturer shipped the wrong color (a forest green) weeks ago and no one thought to check. The incorrect order sat there in the warehouse for weeks. Had they looked, this probably could have been resolved without my knowledge. So, they had to order the correct color (espresso brown). It would take a week or so I was told.

The window installers did come back and completed the rest of the window installation. All but one. The one from the day prior. It was explained the initial measurement was wrong so they had to measure again and a new window would be ordered.

Almost a full two weeks go by before I CALLED to schedule the installation of the siding and the additional window. During this call I spoke with Brett, the district/regional manager. His attitude was poor. He never acknowledged my issues. He might have said he was sorry one time, but it was not sincere. I was very disappointed to say the least.

The siding installers arrived and made some great progress. They removed the brick façade and installed the siding in its place. They did not complete the gables; that was done on the next day.

Throughout the entire project when we were able to speak with Bobby, which was not often, he apologized for the delays and problems. He also promised to move things as quickly as possible. It should be noted that Bobby never kept his promise to call me back. NEVER. In every case, I had to make the call and initiate the install. I was fed up and asked to speak with someone else. As mentioned previously, this person was Brett. 

THE INITIAL MEETING WITH THE SALES PERSON WAS PAINLESS.  HE PROVIDED DETAILED INFORMATION AND WAS ABLE TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS.  THE FINANCING PROCESS WAS ALSO VERY PAINLESS AND WAS COMPLETED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.  INITIALLY I WAS TOLD TO PLAN FOR 2 DAYS FOR INSTALLMENT.  THE INSTALLERS WERE ABLE TO DO IT IN 1 DAY (12 HOURS).  THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.  THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING ON THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE.  THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE MY FLOWERS ON THE OUTSIDE OF HOUSE UNDER THE WINDOWS.  THEY SHOWED ME HOW TO OPERATE MY WINDOWS.  THEY PROVIDED SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS WITH PICTURES IN CASE I FORGET THE DEMONSTRATION.  WE PLAN ON CONTACTING THEM NEXT YEAR TO REPLACE OUR DOORS.

Jose and crew arrived close to agreed time replaced all windows except one, which was the wrong size. Champion reordered correct size and installed it w/in 2 weeks from original installation. Very happy.

This job was to replace a single casement window in our kitchen with a slider style.  We originally signed the contract on 4/6/16 with a promise to have the window completed and installed in 4 weeks.  Also included in this visit was the replacement of 2 window sashes on the upper level that had gone bad.  After the 5th week with no response, and in advance of an anniversary party we were hosting in our home, I called to see what the delay was.  As has been our experience in the past, they actually had the window in their warehouse but had not called or scheduled it for install.  I got the feeling that a unless I got proactive, they would install it when they didn't have anything else to do.  I spoke to whomever schedules jobs and he told me someone would be at our house the next afternoon, 5/19, to install the two sash window replacements and the kitchen window.  The sash windows just needed to be slid into place to replace the failed ones, so that took no time, but the kitchen window did not show up.  The next day we were promised for sure the kitchen window would be installed.  That was on a Friday.  No one showed up nor called all day, thus we were forced to remain at home waiting.  At about 5:00 PM that day I called the company but no one answered, so I called our salesman.  He could not explain why no one showed up or called but said he would find out and call right back, which he never did.  Not only was there no contact by the company or our sales person, but because I was waiting to find out one way or the other, we were forced to cancel our plans for a nice dinner to celebrate our 49th Anniversary that evening.  I did not hear from the company until the following Friday, 5/27.  The caller said he might be able to get the work done by 6/1/16, which he did.  
The work, once it was done, seemed to be done well, the window is a nice quality and fit, and we are satisfied.  As our sales person is aware, we still a number of large stationary windows to replace which will be significant in cost, but I do not plan on using Champion Windows for this job.  The quality and warranty are good, once they get around to installing, but I will not continue to do business with a company I can't trust for dependability and I would not recommend them to my friends or family.

They were on time, very friendly & courteous. They got right to work and installed all 7 windows in about 3 hrs. They even took the blinds down & reinstalled them. Cocked around all the windows & thin. Gave me a tutorial on use of windows. They did an awesome job!

Bought house that had Champion windows put in back around 2005. In 2014 one of the windows inside panes failed. We knew there would be no warranty. They indicated it would take 3 months to get a replacement. We couldn't have a window in that condition for that long. So we called another window place who had a replacement installed in 4 weeks.

Then, a year later I get a call from Champion telling me my replacement window had come in. Yes, a full year later, even after I had told them no thanks on the initial call.

Well, just a few months ago, another window has failed. Looks like it is the pane seal. We are seeing water intrusion on the inside of the panes of glass.

So we will be replacing a second window, and I certainly will not be using Champion for the replacement.

Excellent crew!  Fast job! Very Professional!  I would recommend P.C. to anyone that needs windows.

BEWARE - Warranty is for original owner only and transfers for just 1 year to new owners. All windows in our house but two have failed and they will not help!

This is by far one of the worst businesses I've had dealings with. Upfront Champion does not tell you about any financing information other than that there is interest free with no payments for one year. I was lied to about how much the monthly payments would be. I was told it would be $60 a month. It turns out it's $193 a month. After the first year they charged you 26.6% interest. They did not ask me to sign anything about the financial information instead Green sky sends out a letter and the day they call you, and they have already given money to Champion Windows. Champion places the order without even confirmation. When I talked with a supervisor, he demonizes me and argues over the phone like I'm the one that messed up when it's obvious they were scamming me. Do not use this company!

Howard, salesman was brief but thorough. 2 installers were quick, clean, efficient.

Worker were prompt, professional, and excellent workers.

Installed unit two or three weeks before they had estimated.  Workers were professional.  Electrician did wiring in timely manner.  Original unit was defective, which they replaced immediately.

Arrived on time.  Looked over everything then began work.  They were great - they applied, chalked, nailed, touched up, everything.  They were professional, nice, polite, & cleaned up every bit of the mess!
