Description of Work: I requested an estimate for trimming all trees (eight total) in my yard, possibly removing two, and pickup/removal of all debris.

Description of Work: Fall tree trimming to remove all dead branches and cut back overgrown foliage in new house. Remove large tree limbs hanging over roof.

Description of Work: They cut down a large limb that had a lot of other limbs on it that was laying on our cable and almost on our electric line. They also cut branches off two other trees that were on our roof and against the side of the house. They mulched the branches and cleaned up all the debris.

Description of Work: Damaged limb on a large willow tree in our back yard area that need to be removed. We have a willow tree that had a wide and long split in a large limb approximately 12 inches from the main trunk of the tree. We were concerned that the limb would break causing damage to our fence, landscaping and backyard, as well as possibly causing harm to a person or pet if they happened to be in the area of the tree limb if it broke. The limb was removed in a timely manner eliminating any danger of it falling and possibly causing personal or property damage.

Description of Work: My 94 year-old dad's yard and trees have fallen on hard times. They have been neglected for years and I was attempting to bring them both back to something more than eyesores. Chuck came out to look the tree situation over within a day or two after I contacted him. He went through each tree pointing out what needed to be done. He then went through the cost, which left me dumb-founded as I had spoken with another company the day prior and their cost ran into the thousands. Chuck's was much, much less. After re-reading his reviews on Angie's List, I hired him. He just completed the work today. What a difference! The trees are lovely! He cleared out a lot of deadwood and storm damage on oaks and a maple that are 40+ years old. In fact, he found a few other things that needed tending to and did those also! Everything was cleaned up, too. Hire this guy! You will not be sorry!

Description of Work: I called Chuck to arrange for an onsite cosult of a potentially hazardous tree. Two other Arborists recommended cabling of the tree and provided estimates for the work. Chuck arrived at the site per our prearranged appointment.

Description of Work: Chuck was back to to trim our large Elm in our front yard. Chuck took his time and opened up and reshaped the Elm, it looks like a tree again.

Description of Work: A big piece of tree fell on our house from the wind and we needed to have it removed. It was still attached to the rest of the tree and was near the electrical line to our house so it was tricky to remove.

Description of Work: He cut several limbs but mostly what was done was removing a lot of overgrown thorn and evergreen bushes that looked horrible and were making my backyard look like the deep woods.

Description of Work: Chuck promptly came to the house to provide an estimate on removal of a very large White Pine tree that died this summer. He immediately assessed that the root cause of the damage was the use by my lawn care provider of a Dupont product called Imprelis which has since been removed from the market. He showed me the signs of Imprelis damage. He also refuted my lawn care provider's assessment that the tree died due to root 'gurgling; or another 'expert's' assessment that it was due to borers. Chuck is an ISA Certified Arborist. He spent quite a bit of time with me explaining many details about my trees. He was quite knowledgeable and courteous. After hearing Chuck's assessment, I contacted my lawn care provider who eventually agreed to file a claim with Dupont and to remove the tree at their expense. The lawn care provider was not sure if Imprelis caused the damage, so they agreed to accept a third party assessment, which Chuck willingly provided. He was under no obligation to provide a written statement and requested no payment for doing so. He also assessed my neighbor's tree which had similar damage and included his observations of her tree in his report. His report will provide an impartial and valuable opinion as my claim is considered by Dupont. I am very grateful for his willingness to help us out with his expert opinion.

Description of Work: We bought an existing home that had been on the market for some time. The owner had passed away and there were a number of large, as well as some smaller, trees that were overgrown and a good many of them were touching and/or hanging over the house. We needed a good deal of trimming and clean-up.
