Description of Work: They gave my two Sweet Gum trees injections that will eventually inhibit the production of the spiky balls that fall thru the winter.....they will need more injections in late summer 2015 and then I should see results in Spring of 2015

Description of Work: I could not be a bigger fan of a service provider. In fact, in rating every area an A, I wished there was a higher level! Chuck is amazing. He knows his stuff so well, and his prices are unbelievably reasonable. The first time I used his services, I received two other bids for the job. I'd requested a major tree trim over my house. The other two companies came and went on their own, leaving extremely high bids for what I requested. Chuck came, insisted I be there for the walk and assessment. He explained the needs of my trees and assessed their health. He recommended some treatments, but said I did not need the trim I'd requested, that the tree was healthy and the limbs over the house provided important shade in the summer. (I was paranoid about ice storms.) The high bids were in the thousands. Chuck suggested a clean-up trim on my trees for a bid of $100. Of course, I've used him again, and he went above and beyond. He's low-key, professional, personable, and highly knowledgeable. Couldn't be more pleased with him or his service! I only apologize that this review is long overdue. | |

Description of Work: Leawood tree service arrived before our appointment time on a Sunday. Since I was not home at the time, he called me on my cell and then waited until I arrived to do the estimate for tree trimming. I also had a big limb breakage due to a winter storm. He did the work and managed to save the tree as well. | |He was very helpful offering advice on how to care for my trees, especially one that was diseased.

Description of Work: Chuck walked around our property and talked to us about how to trim our trees and how to identify bug damage. He ended up coming back to inject our trees to kill the caterpillers we had in several of our trees.

Description of Work: Last fall we had an ornamental tree in our front year that was diseased. I contacted 3 providers for a solution. Two gave me estimates to treat as well as to remove the tree. Leawood tree service called and told me that he knew what the problem was and told me that he was very busy, but that he would give me instructions to treat the issue myself. I purchased the two products and was able to save our beautiful tree with little effort and cost. I asked him why he didn't just come out and charge a service call, and he stated that he doesn't work like that. He saved us well over $100 to treat and several more dollars to remove the tree. I would contact him again for any future problems. I appreciated his advice and his integrity The service date is an estimate, I believe it was that last week of August 2012

Description of Work: Fantastic experience!!! The date and price that I wrote are just approximate...I don't remember exactly. I DO remember however, how great everything went. We have a sweet gum tree that I wanted to have removed. Although I like the shade etc. I DON'T like the bothersome sweet gum balls that drop and are a nuisance. I called to get an estimate for getting the tree removed. However, Chuck Bingham told me about the option of treating the tree with a chemical that would decrease and eventually elimanate the balls. This was a perfect solution! We could save the tree. He is a certified arborist and explained the process thoroughly. He did the first treatment and will do the next one this summer. Everything went perfectly. Mr. Bingham is a certified arborist, and I highly recommend him for his professionalism, friendliness, and expertise.

Description of Work: Great experience. Chuck showed up and gave me his recommendation for what I should do for some tree trimming I needed done. He gave a reasonable estimate and he personally came back out and did all the work himself 2 weeks later. He was personable and very easy to work with. I would use this company again.

Description of Work: Long overdue rating of this great company. I have overgrown mature trees in my one-acre yard and Chuck trimmed all the trees and even gave maintenance advice for my smaller trees that I could do myself. Chuck loves what he does and it shows. He's honest and dependable. I didn't even know this but he accidentally cracked one of my window well covers during a tree trimming and made sure to replace and install it. A good man. A man of his words.
