Leawood Tree Service

We were concerned about a tree that was leaning. Chuck Bingham came and was very helpful and gave us lots of free advice about that tree and several trees. He gave us a quote to trim 4 trees. He came back several weeks later and trimmed the four trees plus another one we wanted trimmed. He did an excellent job and cleaned up very well. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and gave good advice.

Could not have been a better experience. Mr. Bingham responded to my voice mail in just a couple of hours, and came to my home to do an estimate the same day. His price was reasonable, his knowledge incredible, and his professionalism outstanding. He spent more time explaining how to keep my other trees healthy than he did removing and trimming. Also, he actually climbed the dead tree and cut it... I didn't have to worry about heavy equipment driving over my lawn. I will never use anyone but Leawood Tree Service again.

I called Chuck and had to leave a message. He returned my call the next business day, saying that he could go by my house and give me an estimate, and that I didn't need to be there unless I wanted to be. He called with an estimate, and left a written quote at my house. A couple of days later, he came to remove the tree. I left a check for him, and only met him when I went by to see how things were going and make sure he found the check. Overall it was great. I felt the price was very reasonable, service was great, and they cleaned up everything very well. I would definitely use him again.

They were so severely damaged I didn?t think we could trim properly. He took quite a bit out, but we think they are saved. He did a great job on the clean up too! His price was very reasonable. He was very knowledgeable. I would hire him again.

Mr. Bingham came out to give me an estimate which I accepted. I was able to talk to him about the job & was impressed by his knowledge. He came out a few days later to do the job.All branches and debris were removed. He showed me where some minor damage to the roof and gutter had occurred. I was very pleased with his work.

Chuck was very punctual and professional. He suggested we trim the willow rather than remove it. He offered a great price on downing a large dead locust that our neighbors wanted for firewood. We did not know until Chuck arrived that he does remove locust trees due the thorns and usually charges twice the normal rate this type of tree. He did provide the name and number of someone who I could call to get an estimate to haul the locust away. While his rates in general were the lowest, we went with another company because they would work with the locust and had no issues removing the willow. Check was extremely knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to call him again for other tree work.

The owner, Chuck Bingham, was also honest--he told me that two other trees would be fine if I just gave them some food even though they had dead branches. This was an exemplary experience and I would definitely would use them again!

Based on the reviews here I called Leawood Tree Service first thing in the morning following the storm, and left a message. Within an hour Chuck Bingham had returned my call, and we discussed what needed to be done. He came by to survey the work and provide an estimate exactly when he said he would be here. I was impressed with the overall professionalism, and felt very comfortable scheduling the work on the spot. Because of the storm, Chuck said he would be performing estimates in the morning, and would begin scheduling and performing the work in the afternoon. He did mention that he wasn't sure if he would be able to get to me on the same day, but would for sure the following day. I was happy to receive a call around 3:30 the same day from Chuck saying they were on the way. Everything was done exactly as they said it would be, for the price they had quoted. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided, and highly recommend Leawood Tree Service.

I found Chuck Bingham on Angies list. I called and left a message for him (he is very busy with referrals from angie). He called back the next day. He scheduled an appointment to look at the tree. He arrived when he was scheduled. Gave me great advise on things I needed to do to keep my other trees healthy. Gave me a proposal for treating the diseased Birch tree. He had to order the treatment, so came back a few days later and treated the tree. Chuck is very professional and I would be happy to have him back (although I hope I don't need to - lol)

The owner was very responisve and gave me tips on some other trees to better care for them. Very professional. Also cleaned up very well. They have become my tree company after suffering through others much less professional.

He was prompt and very professional. He also gave me a lot of additional information and advice for nothing. Even though I did not use him this time, I would probably use him in the future.

Following an ice storm, Chuck Bingham (the owner) came by and gave us an estimate for the work. then completed the work a few days later. As usual, he gave us good advice as how to handle the injury to our large pine which had lost one of its largest limbs, leaving a huge ragged injury which he smoothed out so the water would not collect in the hole and lead to rot. He then climbed our two huge white pines so he could cut back all the broken limbs and stumps left after the ice melted. They looked like new again! He is quite generous with good horticultural advice.

Chuck promptly returned my call for an estimate (the same day). Came out to give an estimate within a day or so. He gave an estimate for 3 trees, listed separately for our convenience should we do them a bit at a time. I called back in the late August, approximately, and he returned the call promptly and scheduled the work within a couple of weeks. He came when he said he would, did a beautiful, complete job on the work we chose to do at that time, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. The tree looks spectacular this spring!!! Over 20 years or so, we had a couple of other tree services trim the tree, and now I see that we never had the expertise we gained from Leawood Tree Service.. The results from Chuck's work show that he knows what he is doing. He is knowledgeable, thorough and professional.

Chuch is prompt at returning calls and calls a head of time to tell you when he will arrive. He is very professional and extremely knowledgable about tree trimming. I wouldn't use anyone else.

He is really good and I found him on Angie's list. I also recommended him to other people. It's his own company and he has another person along with him. They earned a lot of arborers, so he really knew his stuff. I had a tree that I needed for them to come out with a cherry picker and work on. The other tree service didn?t have them and that was when I turned to Leawood Tree Service. He did my trees and he said that we didn't need to do it again for a couple of years. I was really impressed. I am really happy with him. He was really good. He came to work during the summer. He was top rate.

I have used them several times and there quality of service is wonderful. They are very professional, courteous and efficient. They do a very good job and the price is reasonable.

He was an arborist. He was pretty much knowledgeable about the different species of trees. He did an excellent job and cleaned up after himself. He left everything looking very nice in my lawn. His price was a little expensive, but it was worth for his expertise.

I was very pleased by the services performed by Leawood Tree Service. It was a little hard to get him in to do the work, because he is so busy. He was a little pricey, you get what you pay for. His quality was excellent!

Excellent. Very busy man based on all of the positive comments he receives through Angie's List. Called in August and he told me up front that it would be at least 6 to 7 weeks before he could get to us. Does ALL THE WORK HIMSELF which is a major plus for people looking for good, qualified people to do contract work for you. Great experience...will definitely use Chuck again in the future. No reason to call anyone else!

Chuck Bingham, a real gentleman and super nice guy suggested trimming over cutting. He did a superb job. I picked him because of his straight A's and Super Service Award. He's a brilliant Arborist. I learned learned more about trees from this gentleman than I've ever known in my life and he saved my tree. He also told me, when he saw the squirrel traps placed by another company to capture the critters that he could have saved me a lot of money by catching them myself, then explained that process to me.

Arrived within 15 minutes of the time stated, worked as asked, cleaned up as expected.

Great, trees look great. Everything was cleaned up, you couldn't even tell they were here. Very professional! The owner is the one who trimmed and climbed the tree.

Their work was very good. They cleaned up very well. Because it was a busy time of year it took them 4 - 5 weeks for them to come out. Their price was good. I would use them again.

It was great. They came out the same day I called. They were very efficient. They got the job done. I will be calling them again in the spring to have them trim my trees.
