 + -1 moreThis was a disaster. The comments made by the technician lead me to think he truly had no idea what was wrong with my set. Now he tells me it must be a bad picture tube. That diagnostic was supposed to be obvious when they took the "brains" of the TV to their shop. I definitely feel like I got the run around and bad service and damage to my cabinetry. Refunding part of my money was the least he could do.
Description of Work: TV kept going to red then black then shutting off. Technician came to my home, tested the TV, said it needed to go the the shop. Another person returned my TV, sure it was fixed. It malfunctioned (same as above ) immediately. (The charge for the office repair and additional work done in my home was $170). He then "knocked some rust off the picture tube", declared it fixed and left. The TV malfunctions the same as before. He damaged my TV built in cabinetry putting the TV back in place. Today he offered to refund $170, but not the $59 service charge.

They've been in business for quite a few years and also very reasonable in price. He was a pleasure to do business with, and I highly recommend him. Consider him to be a ''new friend.''

 + -1 moreThe service was good. The contact person was very friendly and helpful. Responded quickly and efficiently.
Description of Work: The agent came the same day they were first called for our big screen TV. They were a bit slower on the repair than they claimed they would be, but when I called, they got right on it and returned the following day and put it back together. The agent also recommended keeping the TV and having it repaired as RCA (our brand) has a good track record. He was informative and friendly.

 + -1 moreAS SOON AS HE LOOKED AT THE TV, HE WAS ABLE TO ASCERTAIN WHAT WAS WRONG. HE HAD TO SODDER SOMETHING BACK ONTO THE MOTHER BOARD, RECONNECTED THE DISH TO THE TV, DE-MAGNETIZED IT. HE RETURNED MY CALL RIGHT AWAY, WAS ABLE TO COME EARLY BUT CALLED TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY.
Description of Work: REPAIRED MY TV THAT HAD CRASHED ONTO THE FLOOR.
